We think a $500K offer is fair as he didn't appear on our stat sheet all season for us, but understand you wanting to get the most for your client. Unless we fill the position in the meantime, if we see Ronald still hasn't signed with another team, expect us to be in touch again about him. Thanks Drew.

I was gutted we couldn't record an out for Cesar, but it'll be nice getting our fans back in time for this Austin series. They will be a stiff test.

They can both play at first base, so whatever direction you want to go with it works for me.

I don't necessarily think it should be tweaked, but if you had something in mind, I'd be open to trying it.

I don't know if you've seen the algorithm that ESPN uses... but they have us a "should be" 5-1 record. We got to stop beating ourselves, because as is, ain't nobody better than Brooklyn.

I like the lineup we have right now, we can tweak where they bat, but as for personnel, I think we have the right nine starting.

It's a good idea to grab a catcher. Leventhal has been ousted into a tough situation as a rookie and could use a breather from behind the plate. Nothing else on my end.

He was drafted as a starting pitcher out of high school, I think he could give us five or six innings if he's tossing the ball well.

While we could go Osborn or Peak, I feel Chapple would be our best bet at first base defensively or even Kovalsky if we wanted to look at putting Gutierrez or Chapple in the OF. We have a few different ways we could go about it really.

I agree, you have my support with whatever route you decide, but I think Richter starting could be enough to quiet the bats in Virginia Beach if he's on his "A" game.

Thornton isn't working for us in that #2 role. I'm not sure Demby is going to be much better to be honest and it's far too early to give Edgerton that role. In saying all that, I'd like to give the ball to Welton and see what he can do for us until you or I can figure out a long term solution.

Emotional week coming up as we have former Brooklyn players and of course Mike being over there, but this is an improved Brooklyn team from last season. They have guys that can slap the baseball every which way and pitching staff that has proven to be tough to score runs against early on. Time to show them why we're the measuring stick franchise in this league though.

General Manager's Office / Re: TEAM: LONDON GRIFFINS
« on: March 30, 2020, 03:33:37 PM »

Alright, the press can stick a baseball bat you know where. We're in a slump to question about it. Richter is our best arm in the pen and that's who I think we should go with as a starter. The issue with that though is our bullpen is going to have to pitch better without Richter in that spot. If you feel Richter is more valuable in the pen, which is valid, then we could go Franco.

Played two of the more prolific stolen base teams in Chicago and Thunder Bay, specifically guys like Torrez and Tafolla. I'd chalk it up to that.

I agree there, I know Braswell was happy to get one over the fence after his spring showing and Santiago has been seeing the ball really well at the plate. I think what we have in place right now is fine.

I think Ely or Perez make sense in that spot. Went with Ely this past week and he was able to help us get the win. I think he deserves another go at it before we consider a change.

Might be the worst two week stretch in Horne's career. Positive he'll snap out of it. We just need to make sure we don't get too far behind like last season before we do find our groove. But that's my job to make sure we're in position to make the postseason.

It's one of those things that due to certain "limitations", we will just have to trust the guys to be more patient and aggressive if they see a pitch they like. We can always work on individual players during training camp to work on their plate discipline and patience.

That was an important series win. As for Jayden, might need to think about trying Thorp in the lineup if his struggles continue.

Not at our best against San Diego, but add another sweep on the board. Now a chance to put London in an 0-9 hole.
