I think Hammond knows hes not performing as well as Bill. I like having Bill as our rubber man pitcher, but maybe moving Dusty down to our third starter will rejuvenate him. Your call.

BOTH PLAYERS FILE INTO THE OFFICE, THEY SIT DOEN IN TWO SEPARATE CHAIRS IN FRONT OF YOU. AT FIRST, THEY SIT IN SILENCE BEFORE BILL TALKS.

Just frustration is all.

SOME TEAM MEMBERS LOOK CONFUSED AT FIRST BUT AS YOU CONTINUE ON YOUR RANT, THEY START TO BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE THE TEAMS BEST INTEREST AT HEART. EVERYONE IS WITH YOU ON THIS UNORTHODOX APPROACH.

Not just additional questions as me, but the entire team. Probably best we just do what the league wants us to. As for Tokyo, by far the most talented team we'd face so far. It'll be a test between our arms and their bats and we'll see who comes out on top.

Sturgess is no Hess, but he'll supply some power at times. Altmeyer is a boost to the rotation to slot in as our #2 behind Stover. I think Remter needs more time in a relief role before starting games. We need to send a pitcher down to the reserves though and I hope you don't pick Jukic, he's been our best arm out of the pen. Either way, you have some work to do, I'll let you get to it.

I think I do this against RHP:

1. Schmitz - DH
2. Guevara - RF
3. Freimanis - 1B
4. Weigand - 3B
5. DuShane - C
6. Castillo - CF
7. Gonzalez - 2B
8. Johnson - SS
9. Cook - LF

And this against LHP:

1. Schmitz - DH
2. Castillo - CF
3. Freimanis - 1B
4. Weigand - 3B
5. DuShane - C
6. Guevara - RF
7. Gonzalez - 2B

I agree, I think it's time to bring Palmeri in and bring a boost to the pen. Little has potential, but he's struggling in there at times. As for Payne, yeah, he can go down. He's another who has potential, but isn't ready for consistent playing time.

With Huertas health, he can be plugged back in if you want. Otherwise, Holloway is fine. And the lineup is almost exactly how I'd have it. If Huertas was in the lineup, I'd flip with Hirko and have Hirko bat in the 9 spot. And spot on with O'Malley sliding into a starter role... we could go with our closer Josh Barry as well in the third starter spot. He's a former starter, who went closer after all the pitching talent we had. My only concern is it might be too soon with O'Malley, but there is only one way to really find out there. And yes, Driscoll for Villarreal is exactly what I'd do.

I don't think so, but if you want to give one of them the opportunity, I would heavily lean towards Galiano over Kelly.

Rosenberg best starter right now. We have rotation of number 2 and 3 pitchers. Haggar is second best. And I guess Franks or Billalobos as third.

I agree, Elias has been superb this season. And we have more offensive weapons now then we've ever had. I don't think we need to change anything up for Charlotte. So if you're good to go Coach, I'm ready to head to North Carolina.

This is a series I think we should take. I feel we have the pitching advantage and we still have just as good, if not better bats then the Runners do. Now it's just about executing.

I don't think there is anything worth doing to be honest. I mean if you can go out and get a Tokujiro Maeda for as cheap as Virginia Beach did, then by all means. But I like the team we have assembled.

SURPRISING TRADE SHOCKS THE BASEBALL WORLD!! ANOTHER SAD STORY FOR SAN DIEGO SPORTS!

It just seems like this city just cannot get things right. After Maeda slipped to them in the draft, it seemed like San Diego finally had a player they could build their franchise around. Not only was he a local fan favorite, but he was an international fan favorite and gave San Diego the leg up to grab potential International prospects down the line. Then along game GM Gooch, who Devil Dogs fans have began referring him as GM Grinch, who without no rhyme or reason, trades away one of the games best players and doesn't even get a first round pick back. Meanwhile GM Talon hits a homerun in this deal without having to give up much. This will no doubt be looked upon as one of the stranger trades in history and by far one of the most lopsided.

SEATTLE LUMBERJACKS
PRESS CONFERENCE

S11 WEEK 11

1. What was your biggest takeaway from your game this week?

"That we can dig deep and pull out a victory when things look bleak. After a pretty dominant first half, we let Cleveland back into the game. They won the toss in OT and had all the momentum on their side. Sam Rose makes the big interception and then Frizzy boots the biggest FG in Seattle history. This is a win that cements us as a team that can go the distance. We can do it in all three phases of the game."

2. Talk about your news this week and at least two news stories you found interesting.

"Frizzy should be the toast of the town. If that means he gets a call to hang out with the Khardashian girls, then all the more to him. Apparently they like their kickers. But for real, we get a chance to celebrate this great moment in Seattle sports history, but it's only the prequel for the championship parade to come.

I just want to personally say thank you to Gary Farmer and what he meant to me and my career in D.C. I don't know the specifics on why he left, but I'm sure working for a guy like GM Dazz who hasn't done anything right would make me want to send in my termination papers too. I saw the XFL grabbed him and I don't blame them one bit, I wish him nothing but the best in New York.

How about the scoring this week put on display? Alabama got close to the record and then Las Vegas set the bar, a bar that may never be approached again. If you don't like teams scoring on you, stop them. As for not playing backups... if the team wants to risk injuries to players, then that's on them. Probably not something I would take a risk doing, but I'm not going talk down to those that do. We all run our teams the way we see best."

3. With 6 games to play, how do you feel about your job security?

"I'm confident that I'll be around for awhile. We are just getting things started in Seattle, so strap in and get use to seeing us near the top each and every season."

4. Talk about your opponent this week, what do you expect them to do and how do you win this game?

"We get a tough Charlotte squad on the road. While they are not as star studded as they were when the season began, they play with a lot of heart and passion. If we go in there and play complacent football, we're going to leave there with a loss. But I fully expect us to be more than prepared to play our best game and leaving Charlotte with a win. One thing we haven't done well lately is run the football due to the tough defenses we faced, but I'd like to see us establish the run early and allow us to open up the playbook and move the ball down the field. "

COACH PEARCE DOES A LITTLE SOUTHERN JIG

I don't know how you pulled that off, but you've made one GM look about as dumb as they come. Well done, well done indeed! As for where to slot Maeda in, I think moving York to leadoff and Maeda in the #2 spot works best. As for Bryant, I think we give him a shot and if he struggles, we can always go to Rubio or Oceguera if that happens.
