Either mine or Franchises.

I noticed on the write up that Jon’s name wasn’t crossed off anymore. Not sure if that’s a slip or that Jon is alive again...

Vote: Gooch

I also realized it didn’t really matter unless scum had two kills this night phase lol

Talon, are you 100% that Gooch is scum? Or is it more of a feeling?

Forgot to add my vote...

Vote: Kirk

I feel better about this choice then flipping a coin.

Fair. I will lose the ability but at this point I doubt it matters.

Each night I got 3 names, 1 of which is scum.

Night one was Powers, Gooch, Pancho...Pancho turned up town after being mod killed.

Night two was Talon, Franchise, Jon...Jon was scum after we lynched him.

This leads me to believe that Talon and Franchise are town, and that one of Powers or Gooch are scum.

I didn’t get anything night three because I was locked in my room.

The reason why I deduce that Kirk is scum is that if we have 2 scum left, Talon and Franchise are town, I’m town, one of Powers or Gooch are scum...that leaves Kirk as the only person I don’t have an account for.

If the choice is me or Gooch, then it's gotta be Gooch. I know for certain that I'm town. One question before I vote though. Gates, if you were "locked in your room" how were you able to get this intel?

This is intel I gathered night one and two. Day three/night three I was locked in my room and didn’t gayer anything.

/shrug

Vote Powers

I'll go with Gates

To add...

From my deduction, I believe Kirk is also scum. Assuming there were 3 to start, one out of Gooch or Powers is scum, Jon is scum, and from what I’ve gathered at night, I Kirk is the other one.

So good to be able to talk again.

Are we certain the cursed players know who each other are? I ask because Jon being bulletproof against his own team makes me think it was a failsafe in case they targeted him. But I might be reading into it too much.

We really need to hit on a cursed player though. For my part, I can say that one of Powers or Gooch are scum. I don’t know which one, but one of them is.

PR CAMPAIGNS

Clayton Salmon - “Fish Out of Water” - 250K
A group of 20 somethings are playing Marco Polo in a pool. One man quietly climbs out to trick his friends, and the caller shouts ‘fish out of water’. The man doesn’t say anything but before he can go far, Clayton Salmon (in his football gear) tackles the man to the ground, stares down at him and then walks off. At the end, words appear on screen with a voiceover reading them: The Salmon’s Back!

Shawn Oakman - “This Beast Is On Fire” - 500K
A series of clips of Shawn Oakman tackling people - it starts on the field with an offensive lineman and the into the tunnel with a water boy, into the parking lot with a parking attendant, eventually returning to the field. With each tackle, Oakman turns a little more red until eventually, when returning to the field, his body bursts into flame, Human Torch style before he tears through competition. The commercial will go a long way to introduce Oakman to the Rapid City fans.

Jose Pruitt - “The Miracle Worker” - 500K
Commercial. A host will talk to a group about miracles and tell them of someone who can make the impossible happen. He will point to a screen and clips of Pruitt making some incredibly tough passes will show. The crowd will ooo and ahhh as they watch. The host will say “he makes the impossible possible, he makes the tough seem easy. He’s a god damn Miracle Worker!”

Ralph Brown - “Captain Clutch” - 250K
Brown seems to live for the big moments, always making big catches when it matters most. We are going to run a commercial highlighting some of his best catches from his time with the Inferno. Any catches where he’s diving or jumping through the air, we will add a cape to the video, showing his super hero Captain side. “Captain Clutch is back, and he’s ready to catch anything that comes his way!”

Jeremy Martin - “Relentless” - 500K
Nothing keeps Martin down. We’ve seen it before and last year we saw it as well where even with a slow start to the year, Martin played a pivotal role. Why? Because he’s relentless. We will run a short commercial during the season that highlights this, talking about how you can overcome anything if you put your mind to it, think positive, and never give up.
Also anytime J-Mart scores a touchdown, the chorus of “Relentless” will start playing as J-Mart and the team celebrate.

Alonso Lightner and Randall Pullen - “The Anti-Air Brigade” - 250K
These two are deadly against passing attacks so we will do a small commercial where Lightner and Pullen are in the army, and when an air attack threatens the country, they spring into action and save the day by shooting down the would be attackers. It will then transition into clips of their play on the field, batting away balls and making interceptions. One. Two. The Anti-Air Brigade will be there to stop you.

MUSICAL LICENSES

1. “The Pretender” by Foo Fighters
- this song will play leading up to kick off, as well as after half time as things start to pick back up for kick off. Used mainly to pump up the crowd.

2. “Relentless” by The Arkells
- this song will play at the start of the 4th quarter, as well as during the two minute warning time outs.

Lock In

Here’s my thinking. Maybe there’s like a mimic character that can use another character’s identity as a cover while they commit crimes. Just a theory about what’s going on. What I mean is maybe they choose a character to use as a red herring while doing stuff unseen. Might be overthinking things but might explain the write up.

Right now I think everyone who’s arguing is Town. Scum is sitting back letting it happen while not getting heat on themselves. Not getting any scum vibes from any of the posts this day phase either which is why I’m not placing a vote yet.

But didn’t Kirk already have an explanation for the write up? That he was given a choice of rooms to go into?

That could have gone worse.

Ashley, James T Crain, please?

—————

Mr. Crain, I was wondering if your client, DT Shawn Galindo, would be interested in coming to Rapid City as a back up? The offer would be $500K for 2 years.

21
That would be way too obvious. Even in an Ed game that would be too obvious.

—————

Alright Ashley, we are getting closer to finalizing things. Can you get me in touch with Anthony Campanelli?

—————

Anthony, I wish this call was with better news. We are going to have to use our amnesty clause on your client Steven Cuevas. I’ve done my damndest to find a trade for him to no avail, and I don’t want to drag things out much longer when there’s still a chance someone is able to add him in what’s left of Free Agency. I’m truly sorry about this, Anthony, and I wish Steven nothing but the best.

Fair enough. Thanks for taking my call, Bobby.

—————

Ashley, one more call.  Could you get me Drew Leventhal please.

—————

Drew, I will be brief. I know it’s a long shot, but would your client Ralph Nutter be at all interested in shifting - or willing to shift - some of his salary to bonus money? I was thinking a deal of $5 Million in salary and $2.5 million in bonus money. Same years, just a bit more money up front in the bonus.
