Perfect.

Right, let's gather everyone. Not just the players, the coaches, the Secretary, the water boys... EVERYONE.

I have gathered you all here because in the eyes of some, this is our last game that we will play together. Some players and staff may move on, some may retire, some may retire and some will be joining our family no doubt.

The reason some think that is because we are the underdogs in the eyes of those who have doubted us all along. Those are the ones who have thought we had overachieved last season, they are the ones who considered us to be battling to break even with games this season.

Those that thought that bringing in Junior Jones to partner his old college buddy would spell trouble for me, those who said that Carl Bloom would never be a leader and those who spoke out and called bringing in league leader Michael Hodge in exchange for Large and Cox was a suicide move and career suicide.

I stand in front of the divisional Champions. Something that will not be sniffed at. We topped that league for a reason. We are standing on the brink of immortality, we are standing on the edge of something epic and it's all because of each and every one of you.

You have all contributed to making this team a family. You have made a group of journeymen and men who fell through the draft into icons and you are beloved in the eyes of the fans here in Nebraska and across the footballing world.

What this won't be though... Is the last time I say this to you all... because unlike the critics and the naysayers, I believe... no EXPECT you to win when Las Vegas come to town.

I expect to make Lincoln a cauldron that will make every one of them rethink their life choices.

I want you to go out there and wipe the smug look off of each and every doubters face.

I want you to walk into this match as divisional champions and walk out, one step closer to the Impact Bowl.

You will be tired, you will feel your body aching as that clock ticks down but you have to drag yourself through that wall you will hit. I want you to all dig that little bit deeper and push yourself on for that next yard, that next down, that next defensive set.

I want you to roar for me like the pride you really have become.

Maybe a faster pace.

Or could we do something that maybe keeps our energy levels up in the 3rd and 4th when we tend to fade?

Las Vegas are probably going to be favourites but we have a fully fit QB, and the top forbthe receivers.

Is there any way we can adjust our game accordingly?

S10 WEEK 18 - PLAYOFF W/ BYE

1. With the playoffs starting, what is your number one priority as the GM?
Make my players know that winning our division may be an achievement in itself but this year we want so much more.

2. Who was your regular season MVP for the league, and also on your own team?
It's tough to single any player out on our team but the likes of Sergio Garrett, Junior Jones, Jerry Jarvis and Ervin Edward all produced when needed. Odell Crocker really stepped up when it mattered and Michel Hodge filled the gap left by Large-Cox magnificently.

League Wide I think it's hard to look past Waylon Hagan who has been a force yet again.

3. Who do you expect to face next week when you host your first playoff game?
I fully expect lady luck to not be on our side and for it to be Rapid City coming to town. To be the best you have to beat the rest though so cest la vie

4. What do you plan to do this week, will your players get some time off?
I plan to make sure fitness is top priority for our boys. We get run ragged as you saw again from running up a huge lead and then sitting back a little. I'll be working with Roderick who for the record should be a no brainer for coach of the year, and we shall work on a few drills. We will try and fit a little celebration in

Right... that settles it then...

If we can't have you drift in and out of the game, you rest up this week. No player is worth jeopardising for an early return. Just give the guys a talking to and help them through.

Let's gather everyone...

Boys, we are one step closer towards greatness. Last week we took a giant leap by beating KC...

Now, we have the team that derailed our juggernaut last year, the team that has always had our number. Think about every time that you have felt that sting of defeat... Think about the bitter taste and use it to go out to Rapid City and thank them for the fire it gives each and every one of you.

Think about how we have been written off, think about how we have dealt with the odds. We have lost 2 QBs to injury but they will be there to spur each and every one of you on.

I want you to go out there and feel like this... and every other remaining game is an Impact Bowl. Every game is a cup final. Give me all you have to take this division!

You look different from when we last spoke... new haircut?

I want to start with Odell and Scott as backup. But in the event that we are behind and we have a chance, I want to bring you in... but only then...

I don't want to risk you unnecessarily so if we are ahead or too far out of it, then I don't want you anywhere near the field unless you are ready...

Is that cool?

Superb.

Carl Bloom please.

Carl, I know that you want to play. I understand your hunger and I appreciate that you have been patient.

We have a huge match coming up and I want to make it clear that if things call for it, I want to know if you'll be ok to play... a LITTLE BIT

Understood. I have full faith in you mate and whatever will be will be.

Scott Olds and James T Crain please.

Guys, we have a quandary in QB and I need to speak to you about it. Right now, I want to move Scott up to the main roster from the minors but to do that I have to cut him.

Would he be ok with me cutting him from the team and then immediately re-signing him to a 250k contract until the end of the season

Do we have a deal?

I know Carl wants to play... but I want to limit him a little and not push him.

What I will do is speak to Scott and his agent and explain what I want to do and keep him in the loop. Before I do, is there anything else to address? I understand RC always play a fast game with is, is that something we can combat?

S10 WEEK 16

1. Talk about this weeks performance from your team.
Absolutely beastly performance to see us stay top of the division and I couldn't be happier... despite the injuries hitting us left right and centre

2. Talk about your team's news this week.
I have been talking through tactics with the coaching team and they have worked tirelessly to work out a formula and it appears to have worked so big credit to them and huge credit to Jones and Jarvis for their performances

3. Talk about at least two other news stories of interest.
Kitchen speaking out against his team is very uncomfortable to hear and will lead to some difficult conversations.

The Outlaws relocating is something that I always find baffling. I feel for the fans in Tombstone that will lose their team.

4. What do you have to do to win the game this week?
It's our bogey team, we have 2 injured quarterbacks and they are starting to find their form...

What we need to do, is what we have done all season long and that is to defy the odds and play the game that we play so well.

1. Who was your star player this week? Who disappointed?
I'm not going to single players out but when it comes to performances recently, everybody has pulled together when injuries have reared their ugly head. Everybody has stepped up and everybody has made their mark on the team. In terms of disappointment, I'm not the type of GM that scapegoats players...

2. How would you evaluate your team over the last few weeks?
Outstanding and heartwarming. They are showing hunger and passion to win this division and they are looking forward to the next match

3. With three games remaining, what is the plan to end the season on a high note?
It's going to be tough. It's going to be a run in that is unenviable. We are planning to use the momentum of the past couple of weeks to spur us on though to keep it going.

4. What do you have to do to win the game this week?
Kansas City are coming to town and we need to maintain the momentum and realise that keeping on top of the division is harder than getting there but they have everything in their arsenal to do just that

S10 WEEK 14

1. Talk us through your Week 12 Game, What did you like, what didn't you like?
I liked that first half... I love the result... I wasn't a fan of the ballsy comeback but I'm glad we held on...

2. Talk about anything interesting you around the league...
I love listening to Ace Profits warble on to try and garner attention for himself. If he wants to try and move attention away from his own franchise and drive fans away, he's going the right way about it.

3. Talk about your game this upcoming week, what do you need to do to win?

Crunch game at Seattle. I hate the term "must win" but if we want to be a contender for the impact bowl, then we have to do just that...

S10 WEEK 12 / 13

1. Talk us through your Week 12 Game, What did you like, what didn't you like?
I liked grabbing another home win when we knew how important it was to do so. I love the impact that Carl Bloom despite not playing. I note that yet again, when it's negative surrounding that lad, you are quick to spew out a negative news story about him and others but a positive story and a positive impact on the team sees tumbleweed go through here doesn't it?

2. What did you think of the All-Star skills challenges?
It was an entertaining set of events but I was more focussed on making sure that we are prepared going forward at such a crucial time of the season.

3. What did you think of the All-Star Game itself?
Again, it was entertaining but I'm just glad that the guys who did feature remained fit and healthy going forward into games that really matter.

4. With the Minor League Call Up Window here once again, do you plan on calling up any players?
That is something that I will discuss with the coaches but adding a new player in who hasn't played at this level could be risky especially when you will have expectations for them to play at a certain level.

5. Talk about your game this upcoming week, and how do you feel about the final five games of the regular season?
Portland come to town and the pressure with injuries will play on my mind as well as the need to make sure we keep pushing on for a place in the playoffs.
