Gracias damas y caballeros por su pacencia.  Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your patience. Me da mucho orgullo esta aquir despues de nuestro seria contra Chicago.  It brings me great joy to come before you all after our series against Chicago.  Let's get directly to the questions.  Senor Fury you may go first.

Talk about the last series. What was the highlight of the weekend for you?

Tien que ser ... it has to be that first game.  In a close game leading into the 9th inning where our P Olson outdueled Powers our bats came alive.  That's a killer instinct I want to see in this team. It's something I want to nurture and grow because going into the 9th Chicago fans could have been pleased.  3 more outs and then with one swing of the bat this could be a new ball game.  But thanks to those extra 8 runs we stacked on at the end they went into the bottom of the 9th defeated and just ready to head for the doors.  I'd love to see that happen earlier in the game and much more often. Si, Senor Winnfield?

Talk about the incoming draft class, do you feel it's too early for players to have to choose this soon into the season on college or the pros?

The sooner the better because the more you delay the decision the longer it festers.  To me it should be like taking off a band aid. Just rip it quick and get it over with.  Why agonize over a process when you should trust your gut in the first place.  Anything else is just noise. Que no? Si Senor Glass - otra pregunta?
How do you feel about the potential changes the league is looking into?
I enter the league knowing the rules.  I'm not a fan of changing the rules a season into it without having a voice.  No taxation without representation - know what I mean? And now ... aww yes Senor Windu. Es tu turno.

Talk about any other news that sticks out to you?

I once again voice my displeasure that steroid allegations against a player have simmered simply because the player had a bad series at the plate.  It was just as ridiculous that the rumors rammped up simply because he had a good series at the plate.  If people want to have a serious conversation about steroids in sports they need to understand how they actually impact the sport. Not just spit out cliche's and diatribes. It's insufferable. Alguien mas?

Talk about your opponent this week. What will be the key to victory?
We visit Thunder Bay in a battle of current division leaders.  Their run differential is amazing - best in our conference.  However, we've got the pitching to go toe to toe with them.  I expect a very competitive series.

Hosting Oakland - who just put their chips all in ... On the road to Cleveland ... and on the road to Seattle to settle a accounts with an "old friend." I love it.  We went on a run last season all the way to the Impact Bowl out of sheer will.  This time I want that will to make us the clear cut favorites from start line to finish line.  And to do that we need to knock off each one of these sons of bitches.

I'm certainly excited for the games but before we can do that - we've got to get some business done here in Vegas at this rookie showcase. I'll be handing out assignments shortly on what we should target.  Once you get those assignments I will leave you to it Coach Rudino.

Its an amazing thing coming to Las Vegas. Even more amazing is what this week provides us in the rookie showcase. For us General Managers its a time for us to address future roster concerns. Ill go ahead and open the floor to questions.

Talk about last weeks game.

The New Jersey was every bit of a close game I expected it to be. Coach Swope is still the defensive mastermind hes always shown us he is. The final score truly doesnt reflect the effort made by New Jersey. Luckily our game plan is fluid as well as the skills of our two best offensive players. Coach Rudino is just as much of a schemer as Coach Swope and then some. It was truly a great contest.

What are your thoughts on Hilton Keegan and others skipping this Rookie Showcase and committing to either the XFL or AAF?

I wont mice words about what we do. This is a business first and foremost. Ive cared greatly for players Ive cared for because it was for the betterment of the team. But Ive also been reckless in my past as well and deserve criticism for it. Entering this league is entering into a business. No one forced you to do it. Make no mistake though the XFL and the AAF are just as much of a business as the HiFL.

What are you hoping to gain from this weeks Showcase?

Im hoping to gain a lot of information on good talent and hoping none of the other GMs are as smart. Im looking for skills but Im looking for personality as well. I dont mind a loud mouth so long as it comes with a great work ethic.

What did you schedule for your players during the bye week? Training or a week off?

Weve got good leadership on this team from our captains to our coaches. The men on this team have played flawlessly except for two quarters. I think they have deserved some rest. After all, injuries are the only thing that can hold us back.

Talk about anything else on your mind in reference to the league/sport.

An open forum?! Ive always prided myself on saying what I mean and meaning what I say. At this time Ive got nothing else to share.

Are there no further questions?

Nothing to change. Nothing to discuss. Were moving the ball at will and dominating both sides of the ball. Nobody scores the ball better than us and one of the few teams better than us on defense ... is the Long Beach offense.

Ive got full confidence heading into our matchup with New Jersey. Just want to talk to one or two guys. See you around Coach.

Blue let me talk to Timothy Cobbs

Mr. Cobbs - And I got to put a Mr. on it because if commanding a double team wasnt enough. You command respect for sure. I just wanted you to let you know I heard your comments a few weeks ago, Every sack I make is a direct deposit into my bank account.

I just wanted to let you know at the end of the season when I talk with Steve were going to work on getting you a savings account ... if you catch my drift. We want to keep you and were aware of the going rate for a top end DE is.

You just keep doing you baby. Know what I mean?

I dont think I need to remind the crowd of GM Dazz opinions about the caliber of our opponents but I only mean to compliment the Dragons and the defensive knowledge Coach Swope has. Ive experienced it first hand.

I didnt like the amount of men left on the bases but I suppose I should feel good about the number of men we got on. Just need to work on bringing those boys home. I loved the third game with Olson, Hillin and Larios just shut it down.

One question I did have about Olson. Since hes expressed his opinion it hasnt ruffled any feathers in the lockeroom has it? Thats really my point of focus. Fans will be fans

Another game, another victory.  The final score doesn't give Music City enough credit. That first half was difficult and while we jumped to an early lead they came right back at us.  However, this team has the ability to close like no other and when we saw the fight Music City we took it to another level.  That's the difference between other teams and us is we have that next gear that most teams can't obtain ... yet.  It's still early in the season so I don't want to get too confident but who couldn't be pleased with our performance?  Another 5 TD performance from Ortega, Robles continues to be the best RB in the league and we have yet to really let him loose in our pass game.  I'd like to give credit to Austin Moran who stepped up after having a drop and when we went right back to him had the skills and confidence to secure a touchdown catch.  I know everyone likes to think of Alabama and our stars but we are a roster of 40 men who all chip in for the victory and who all take loss the same way. Now before I keep rambling I'll let another question be asked

Talk about the news that caught your attention this week...

Mr. Profits is an opinionated owner who fights for those on his side.  I understand his opinion and I'm sure many in Cleveland share it but we can settle down with the hyperbole.  After all 5 is greater than 4 and Jamie as a runner alone did more on less carries.  Now when it comes to actual football - Christian Sullivan joining the Miami Killer Whales is definitely huge news for our division and bad news for us.  Miami was always a difficult team to play and they've improved now in what some would say is their greatest area of need.

Now that you have completed your first round of divisional games, how do you rank the teams in your division and who do you believe will be the biggest threat to your goals?

We're the cream of the crop. Nobody scores the ball better and nobody defends the ball better. Our owner expects us to dominate - win the division, win the conference and win the Impact Bowl.  Looking around the league I've target three teams as the biggest threat, Miami, Cleveland, and San Antonio.  Each one of those teams is a good blend of offense and defense that presents their own unique challenges. As far as the division as a whole to be ranked - Miami sits on top then the rest fall in this order. Music City, Orlando, Charlotte and then Atlanta.

Talk to us about your upcoming game this week.  What will be the key to victory as you step out of division for the first time this year?

Week Six brings us New Jersey and I get my first real look at GM Stark and what he has done with the roster. But while GM Stark may be new - Coach Swope is a face i remember and the last time I saw that face in the regular season his defense gave us the greatest smackdown I've ever been given.  This won't be an easy game by any means and may be the test that GM Dazz needs in order to give us the credibility we so desperately desire from his approval.

Gracias damas y caballeros por su pacencia.  Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your patience. Me da mucho orgullo esta aquir despues de nuestro seria contra Omaha.  It brings me great joy to come before you all after our series against Omaha.  Let's get directly to the questions.  Senor Bob you may go first.

Talk about opening week. What did you take away from it?

The smell of the grass, the smell of the dirt, the sound of a baseball being with a bat.  These are all unique sounds, sights, and smells to our game that just trigger feelings of warmth as there is truly no better day than Opening Day.  Now Specifically to the opening week against Omaha. In the first game it was our pitching and timely hitting that helped us win a close one.  In the second game we didn't capitalize on an early lead that Hammond and the hitters gave us.  Going into that 7th inning we were up 5-3 with only 9 outs to go and we couldn't close the door on them.  It's still early in the season but that's the kind of thing I want to target and fix.  If we get a lead I want us to strike fear in our opponents that they are never getting back into the game.  The third game is what I love to see. Domination from our pitching staff from beginning to end.  We only allowed 5 hits all game and when Hillin and Larios got in the game we shut the door on them.  Overall, It pleases me that we can play in these tight low scoring games and win but I am concerned with us giving up that lead in the second game.  Either way we were in a position to win all three games and I am confident Mexico City will perform well as the season continues. Yes? Senora Sarah you can have the next question.

Any news stories stick out to you this week?

Certainly as a General Manager you never want to see your own name in the headlines.  The focus should always be on your players and staff but I have only myself to blame for that.  But I'm afraid I don't have a statement to remark on that story.  I will also talk about the way our fans have responded to Olson's political comments.  Both Olson's comments and the fans response are completely fair and justified.  Olson is allowed to support whatever political candidate or idea he wants to.  Our fans are allowed to have an opinion on how that makes them feel and the sun will continue to rise and set.  I've always prided myself on being a GM who didn't stifle their players on public commentary so I'm glad Bill already feel's comfortable enough to express himself.  Yes, Francisco you may have the next question.
Do you think there is PEDs in the game right now?

Possibly but I'm afraid I have no direct knowledge on whether that is or not - nor do I have an opinion on PED's themselves.  I will say this however, for the immediate response to an outstanding performance by an athlete ... for that to be an accusation of PED's - without proof - is completely uncalled for. Without proof it's no different than the out of shape kid pointing at the in shape muscular individual and muttering comments about steroids - ignoring years of dedication to a diet and workout regiment that created that look.  Ultima Pregunta. Last Question, and you may ask it Senorita Mayra

Talk about your opponent this week. What will you have to improve to take the series?

We are in the premier series of the week facing off Chicago.  I find it hilarious that GM Powers of Chicago uttered these words, "Probably. As long as there has been baseball, people have looked for an edge. It's terrible, and I wish we could do away with them, but it's a reality of the game." I don't think I have to remind anyone of Powers past when it comes to doping.  So allow me to adjust the phrasing - As long as GM Powers has been employed, Powers has looked for an edge. It's terrible, and I wish we could do away with him, but it's a reality of the game that people keep hiring him.  And while GM Powers is prepared to uppend his entire roster in only the second series I believe consistency is king.  Mexico City knows what it is and it is simply a matter of execution in our gameplan to obtain success.  It starts with our pitching from our ace to our third starter.  Then it will be up to our bats to knock their pitchers around.

Any further questions?

Thats what I would love to talk about if it wasnt for this damn billboard nonsense but Ive been as clear as I can be about that. Every week you and I get together and we talk about the amazing thing Jamie has done and every week he takes it up a notch.

The best thing is hes doing a magnificent job of spreading the ball around so everyones getting a touch. Things could not be going any better. Worried about our secondary considering how we played Music City last year. I know we discussed Vu how has Woodson faired in the #2 CB spot since we added him to the main roster?

Who benefits? You figure that out and you have your answer.

GM Justin on Twitter didnt seem to shy away from any accusations but why would he include us as opposed to just his own team.

GM Kirk thinks its a recruitment campaign by GM Metro though usually everything GM Kirk says has a tongue firmly placed against his cheek.

The Jimmy Minor article out of Vegas suggested the billboards in question were part of the Vegas marketing blitz to restore fan confidence.

Heres my point. Whoever did it. Keep my name. Keep the teams name. And Keep Jamie Ortega out of it. And whoever did it can rest assured they owe us some money for using copyrighted images or likeness without consent.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your patience. A few things to talk about so we should get started. Ill let Sal have the first question.

Talk us through this weeks game. What went wrong?  What went right?
Really I have no complaints. We dominated on every side of the ball. Jamie Ortega is well ...playing out of his mind. Ive never seen anything like it and Im happy Im standing on the right sideline cause that kind of game can be demoralizing.

Talk about the news that caught your attention this week...
Jumped ahead of me Joe but Ill bite. My social media was blowing up because someone blamed me for billboard trash talk. Now Im not above trash talk. My press conferences and career can speak to that. But thats exactly where it comes from. I put my name on it. So does my team. We talk a lot of trash but it happens on the field. In your face. Where you can fight fire with fire. I didnt get any answer though and I just seem to have more questions. Yes Brian?

One Quarter of the way through your season, What have you learned about your team so far, and where do you see your season going?

We stay healthy its going to be bad news for the rest of the league. Last question goes to James.

Talk to us about your upcoming game this week.  What will be the key to victory?

Music City is a dangerous team and Ive known it from last season where they threw all over us and gave our secondary the business. Having just seen them take a loss it actually makes me more concerned what they not won. They have a strong head coach that knows how to turn that negative into a positive and truly I think they will be tough competition. But above nothing else if we control the ball, dominate the time of possession and just execute we will come out victorious.

Any further questions?

Oliver thanks for coming in. I know things havent always been smooth with us and the last time we had a conversation in this office it wasnt the most pleasant. I appreciate everyone's patience in waiting for me to arrive.  I heard some interesting things that I had to get checked out because I'm sure it's going to get brought up. So let's have at it shall we! Yes Sandra in the back

Talk us through this weeks game. What went wrong?  What went right?

The first half and going into second things did not look good for us.  Keep in mind at one point the game 20-10 and we were down.  Ortega threw a beauty to Oliver - not sure if it was blown coverage or Oliver being Oliver but 50 yards later and we've made the game competitive.  From there it was domination.  We scored 21 unanswered points in that 2nd quarter and never left our foot of the gas.  I'd like to see improve on 3rd downs as we get more into the season and especially into the playoffs sustaining drives is going to be important.  Sustaining the drive will allow us to control the clock and keep our defense fresh. I'd also not like for us to give up such big momentum swings in the special teams department.  Pin em deep and make em earn their points.  For me it was a good sign though that our offense doesn't have to build and early lead but can come from behind as well.  Yes Patricia next question.

The XFL and AAF have been very quiet since their championship games received very low viewership, do you believe there is room for that many professional football league's in America?

There are only so many hours in a day, days in a month and months in a year.  I'm not here to say there is not room for the XFL or AAF I'm just saying that it takes time to build a brand.  People forget that the "GM Era" didn't take place till the 5th season. A lot of hard work went into those first four years that sometimes goes unnoticed. After all just look at the hall of fame votes.  It might be too soon to call to make that type of judgment on the XFL and AAF.  Yes Paul?

Talk about something going on around the league this season that has interested you in one way or another.

This league is always changing and parity is a good thing.  I'm not quite ready to bury Las Vegas.  Our team knows better than most what it's like to have everyone in the league pile it on kicking dirt on to our grave and trying to dance on it.  It's been three games.  Nothing is set in stone.  Still a lot of football left.  I know people would expect me to answer differently given the "rivalry" but you never want to count an opponent out. Yes Beatrice?

What do you make of the incredible season Jamie Ortega is having this year, first place in passing and rushing TDs, as well as rushing yards all while only having one interception on the season.. is that MVP Caliber in your eyes, and if not, who is your early favorite for league MVP?

This organization scouted him, we traded up for him, we drafted him and we have groomed him every year and seen his progression.  Even I am floored sometimes by the production Jamie gives us.  As impressed as I am by his on the field numbers - and BY GAWD are they impressive - I am equally impressed with the man he has become.  He's a leader not just in the locker room but in the community.  He's a high profile athlete who hasn't had a single negative thing printed about him personally - professionally is a whole nother matter! However, to be fair ... we haven't faced a proper defense ... so really why even bring up the stats.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAH!!! Oh man I can't believe he said that publicly.  My nephew came to excited about his report card for pre school but I asked him ... had he faced a proper defense doing it?  My brother found it hilarious.  My sister in law not so much.  My nephew shrugged and quickly played with his leggos.  GM Dazz - stick with the leggos. It's where your football analysis belongs. Yes, last question before I open the floor and you guys can just shout out your questions. Maria go ahead.

Talk to us about your upcoming game this week.  What will be the key to victory?

Charlotte is going through some changes so I don't even know if by the end of this press conference we'll be facing the same team.  What matters most is the basics though - control the football, control the clock, minimize mistakes. Doesn't matter the team you face if you can do those three things good things are bound to happen.

Anything else?

Bueno si quieren segir en Ingles.

I can certainly conduct the rest of the presser in English.  Now to your question. Sometimes it takes the right blend of personalities, sometimes it's making the right roster move, and sometimes it's about luck going your way.  Baseball is a game of inches and you'll need those inches on your side.

What we have to do as a ball club is persevere when things don't go our way and be ready for when they do.  I always go back to a saying Coach John Wooden had, "Luck is simple a crossing point between being prepared and opportunity."

What a time to be alive!?!? Am I right Coach??

Two weeks two totally different games. Way I see it is we have 6 great quarters of football and the two were going to forget about it. Id certainly love a repeat performance against Miami.

Can you imagine if he keeps it up!?

Jamie can do anything he sets his mind to. Hes not just physically gifted but he has a drive to compete and be better. There are people who when meeting their goals sit on their laurels. Jamie is the kind of guy who got a taste of gold and it only made him hungrier. Theres a reason we marketed him as One is Not Enough. Its not a gimmick. Its real life.

As to the second part of your question.  I want my QB as well as any other player on my roster helping me win and helping us repeat. If that means my QB is my leading rusher my WR is my leading passer or my RB is my pancake leader lets make it happen and get that W and Repeat babay!

What stood out to you this week from your game, both good and bad?

The good is easy.  Not burdened with fearing for his health Jamie Ortega played and boy did he make it count.  I know last week I mentioned how long my memory was well I hope other teams are paying attention.  Because when a GM calls our offense "one dimensional" we just HAVE to prove him wrong. 3 TD in the air. 5 TD on the ground - 290 yards through the air - 282 on the ground.  Sounds fair and balanced to me.  But don't let this be all about the offense because or defense was equally good only allowing two touchdowns and that was well late in the game.  Defense did a good enough job holding down Merv Patton in the first half that most of the Orlando fans never came back from halftime.  Defense also had a tremendous amount of pass deflections that I truly don't have anything bad to point at.  That was a pretty dominant win. Yes Mando? Go ahead.

How do you feel about GM's feuding with the owners of other franchises?

Is this the hill you want to die on today? If it is. Do it guns blazing otherwise best to keep a lid on it.

Two games into the season, are you getting what you expected out of your team?

It's difficult for us to truly evaluate our team because we are keeping week one in our rear view.  I look at week two and beam with pride that our players just don't give us their best effort but can execute what we call for. That's really all I've ever wanted from my players.  Do what we ask and execute it. Yes Jocelyn you have a question?

No team is perfect, what do you feel your biggest weakness is going into week three?

Untested Depth.  We have quite a few rookies at key positions behind the depth chart.  They haven't been proven in battle yet but I hope that they can rise to the occasion especially at TE and WR. Yes Socorro?

Which match up will be the key to victory for your team this week?

Miami is always a tough play. I remember to start the season last year they ran us into the ground but we managed to hold on for the victory.  We need to do two things. Press the QB and hurry his process or at least make him feel hurried.  The second is we need to contain their running attack.  Our run defense has to be there to force them to pass.  If our offense can build a lead and get out early it allows our defense to pin their ears back and get after the QB.  If we can do that we can overcome Miami.

Any other questions?

Sounds like the kid is having to correct his natural instincts and learning how to play the game the right way.  To me this is a sign of good progress but definitely something to encourage him.  Don't want him getting frustrated.  Thanks for the insight coach.

Blue can I speak with Jamie Ortega

Jamie I know things last week got confusing with doctors, the league, and what our coaching staff wanted.  We're just going to have to forget about what could have been last week and just ball out this week.  Time to go Alan Parrish and conquer that Stampede.

Everyone wants a piece of us and every small victory is going to get blown out of proportions because for them it is their impact bowl. But you and I coach weve literally had our backs against the walls and Ive lived this life for a long time. When they come for the king ... they best not miss.

That being said I am pleased to see Orlando week 2. A tough matchup is exactly what we need to test ourselves. Jamie will be back to full strength. I know coming into the year last year we had concerns in the secondary but Vu had a decent game. How has he progressed compared to last year?

It's up to the parties involved to try and set the stage for a rivalry and it's up to the fan bases to carry it.  You can't manifest a rivalry.  If you asked me it's not a rivalry but if you asked the Alabama fans, the Las Vegas fans, or even GM Metro they might say different - or in the case of GM Metro - nothing at all.

As far as the sentiment around the league I've always said - some people like Vanilla, some people like Rocky Road, some people like Cold Sweat for some strange reason.  There's never ONE way to do anything. What matters is that a rivalry stays healthy.  Nobody needs to take it to Tupac Biggie Smalls levels or to Mike Powers levels. That's when people get hurt.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen of the press. Certainly not the result we wanted and I know there's a lot of speculation as to events that happened during the game so I figures let's get to this already.  First question goes to you Trey.

Talk us through your first regular season game of the season, who impressed, who failed?

I was very impressed by our team in the first half.  What Jamie Ortega was doing out there with his legs is what makes our offense so dangerous.  We have two of the most dynamic players in the backfield and under center and both can beat you in multiple ways.  Naturally, when Jamie couldn't go back into the game that wasn't the case.  That's no knock on Cardale but he doesn't have the skill set that Jamie Ortega does so asking him to replicate that of course sometimes he would come up short. I wish we had done better against the run because Atlanta pounded the rock against us with Collins and McClure especially in the second half. We came out flat as a team in that third quarter and allowed Atlanta back into the game.  Certainly some of the guys were down to see Jamie have to sit but this team isn't about one player on either side of the ball.  This loss is on us for letting it happen with the banners going up but it's a strong reminder - the success of last year is gone.  It's a new season and nobody is giving you anything. Next question to Bob

What do you want to see your team improve on the field?

I'd like to see us do better against the run defensively.  It's only one game but to allow two RB to average 4.5 YPC isn't a good look.  We also need to incorporate an aerial attack into the offense nothing that would require a dramatic shift in the playbook but enough to keep teams honest or at least executing on the ones we call.  Next Question to Paul

Give us a take from at least two of the stories in the media this week

Let's get to the elephant in the room.  There's a reason these doctors are independent.  They're supposed to act in the best interest of the patient regardless of football, mine, coaches, or even Jamie's opinion.  Was this situation the best example of that process working? I don't know. I'm not a doctor.  Jamie's not a doctor.  Coach isn't a doctor.  Adrenaline can make you feel no pain and in that moment maybe he was fine to go in but it was doc's call and he made it.  It's up to us to not let something like that have such an impact on our play.

I'm also glad to see that Vegas contribution to the Alabama market hasn't just been noticed by the media markets accountants but also by the Las Vegas fan base.  I certainly want to thank GM Metro for investing in this community.  Your money is always welcome here and thank you for making a few Alabama stations Christmas just a little bit brighter.

I will say one negative thing though, I see a lot of GM's opening their mouths and suddenly discovering they have a set simply because we're not on the schedule.  That won't always remain and I have a long memory.  An elephant never forgets and neither does a Nighthawk. Last question to Pablo before I open it up for a free for all.

Talk to us about your upcoming game this week. What is the biggest match up to watch in your eyes when it comes to victory?

We hit the road to face Orlando with both teams thirsty for a win.  I'm sure GM Cory will feel a certain way about how our last matchup went. Neither one of us is going to want to start the season 0-2 but one of us will.  As always the matchup on the outside of Holt and Tibbetts will be intriguing.  I don't mind that Holt likes to talk - but he better do more than that covering a legend like Tibbetts. I'm also intrigued how Patton and our DL will go against one another.  The difference between 2 seconds and 3 seconds and 4 seconds could be the difference between a sack a first down and a long TD.  We can't give Patton too much time.

Any other questions?

Thank you for your patience ladies and gentleman.  The first two exhibition games are in the books and players have now seen the field.  Speaking of field ... I'm going to field some questions.  Barbara you can have the first one ...

What did you gather from your preseason games?
- Excellent question.  As I've said before while the results don't count in the standings there is nothing like live football to test an individual.  For me the greatest concern was seeing how the depth chart would flow.  Would there be someone who in the moment could rise to the occasion that could be counted on in future games.  Certainly this is the first time we've seen Mantalban on the field and he definitely performed as advertised.  The offense lacks the depth it may have had prior at the skills position but we feel we have the right players - they just need time.

How much stock do you put into your teams preseason performance?
Matt Zenitz you know you asked me that last year.  As I've stated before more information is always better than less information.  To be clear, performances or lack thereof in the pre season can be indicative of a future problem or solution that can affect your regular season.  I'm always in favor of more information than less so put me in the category that puts a healthy amount of stock in our teams preseason performance. Yes Bomani please go ahead.

What is your primary and secondary goal this season, personally?
My primary goal is to repeat as Impact Bowl Champions.  GM Jon and the DC Cobras did it.  GM Gates and the Rapid City Inferno did it.  I'm the only championship winning GM who hasn't been able to repeat.  So my focus is on doing that.  My secondary goal for me is that while we are building to a championship repeat I have to replenish our stocks.  A General Manager's work is never done and as soon as the season begins you have to begin thinking about future seasons; especially in a location like Alabama.  We don't rebuild here. We retool.  So I have to keep an eye on my roster, where our weaknesses may be, what players we want to target in development systems, college, or on other pro rosters to build us up.  Yes, Mr. Isola.

Who impressed you the most on your own team in the pre-season?
We know the players we have that we are bringing back.  The true unknown for us was Demian Mantalban. We invested heavily into bringing him on to our defense and I have to say through two games I am impressed.  He definitely belongs on that field but more importantly he belongs in black and gold. Wrapping up soon guys so lets get those questions in, Yes Mr. Kornheiser

With the start of the season finally here, what do you expect from your players in week one?

Facing Atlanta on Thursday night to open the season.  We're looking to dominate and get a win.  Every team this year is going to give us their best because some GM's are going to want to hang their hat on their season was a success cause they beat the champs.  Not to mention I don't like GM Lucas and I don't like what comes out of his mouth when talking about us.  Let me just remind people of what GM Lucas said publicly.

"... I mean for a team in Alabama who is supposed to be so dominant, who is supposed to run away with the division, to start pulling players in fear of us being so aggressive they might get hurt doesnt scream strong team. Im sorry, this is a mans game,  ..."

Or how about, "They are having a tough year. I think where GM"s Pancho's arrogance got the best of him was allowing us here in Atlanta to acquire such talented coaches in Munoz and Bowman. They had that team rolling, I didn't understand how they were blamed ..."

Let's continue, "hey were furious with the unprofessionalism of one of this games best players. I understand he is having a year for the ages but to act the way he was acting after the game was way out of hand. Just goes to show the lack of professionalism that is being taught by thier coaches. This isnt the first time Alabama has shown us up and I promise you, next year, if GM Pancho survives will have a message for them."

And finally, "i think I speak for the entire organization when I say, "I dont care who wins as long as it isnt Alabama". Thank you. "

I'm putting the league on notice.  I don't want an Atlanta player taking cheap shots at my players and then us getting punished for retaliating.. because their GM wants to make a statement. I'm looking to play a solid football game and I hope the referees come prepared to keep it that way. Because if GM Lucas thinks he can use US as a stepping stone? He better step hard.

Blue let Jamie Ortega to come see in my office

Hello Jamie.  Blue let me know you'd like to play against Vegas. I'm not opposed to it but I'd like to know your train of thought because I'll happy explain mine.  The way I see it - you're punching down.  Shelley's got to come at you. That's why he's convinced his GM to spend company money just to throw shade at you ... because he has to muddy the water up just to get into the conversation.  He wants to bring you down to HIS level.

I say if Shelley want's to play you so bad - he can lead his team to the Bowl like you have and we'll see you on the field. That's my thought's on it.  Tell me why you want to play against Vegas. Have i misread the situation?
