Everyone will still get their looks, Ortega goes through his reads. I think its a fine move to make without shaking up the locker room in a bad way.  ...as for the sidelines, just don't get near me when I'm calling plays, I need my space.

LEAGUE ANNOUNCES ALL-STAR WEEK GM'S AT FUNDRAISER BANQUET IN NEW YORK CITY!

NEW YORK --- As investors, owners, and sponsors gathered in New York City this week for a large fundraiser for youth football programs across the western hemisphere, Commissioner Wilkinson made an announcement about the upcoming first annual All-Star Break and Game. Wilkinson said:

"The first annual HIFL All-Star Week will showcase some of our most talented and dynamic players putting their individual skills on display in both team and individual competitions that will reward the players with awards and cash prizes.  The event will culminate with the first annual All-Star Game, putting hand selected teams against one another in a game that will award the winning team with a large bonus that they will split among themselves.

The All-Star Team will be in an East vs. West format.  The teams will be selected by the only two General Managers who have won 60+ total games in their HIFL career.  ...GM Kirk and GM Jon.  GM Kirk will select the All-Star team from the East while GM Jon will select the All-Star team from the West.   The teams will consist of at least one player from each team in that conference, while the remainder will be at the discretion of the General Manager in charge of the selections.

The Skills competitions will feature players from various teams, which will feature players invited to each event by the League.  The forty-yard dash, The JUGS competition, Tug of War, A skills position Obstacle course, a lineman Obstacle course, and a other events that will revealed as we get closer to the break will all be featured. The fans will be invited to interact with the event on an entirely new level via social media and VR technology that is sure to bring the game to an entirely new level."

I like you GM Pancho, momma always said that you could tell alot about a man by how he made his first impression, but she also said people won't remember what you did before, just what you did in the end... ...which is funny, because our maid Katrina, she always said "its not what you did, it's what have you done fo' me late-ly..."  ...I don't know, I guess it's kinda the same thing.

Have a nice day.

I'd say Frank Cooney.  He' not found a way to get a turnover yet this year and he's only got about 6 PDs this season.

The Doc says he's healthy enough to play, but there is the risk of furthering the injury if he really takes a bad hit, but its unlikely... the worst case is it effects his footwork and limits his mobility.

Bloom tells me he is going to play... He refuses to sit out.  I told him no shame in resting after that cheap shot by those bastards, but he says he's good to go.

Another night in the city, and the scum is out again. BILLY RUSSO is determined to kill after missing out the night before..  He finds himself sitting on a floral couch in a small apartment in Hell's Kitchen where KAREN PAIGE pours him a cup of coffee.

"So Mr. Russo, tell me again, why is it that ANVIL operatives have turned up dead all around the city lately?"

"On the record, or off Ms. Paige?"

"..Whichever gets me the truth."

BILLY smirks and stands up to accept the cup of coffee, pacing as he waits for it to cool down.

"Well lets go off the record then Karen..  You see, my men have been working relentlessly to find an old friend of mine, Frank Castle..."

"..but Frank Castle has been dead for six months, we all know that."

"Do we?  Do YOU?  Because my sources tell me that New York's Favorite reporter is sitting on a big juicy story... that the PUNISHER is still alive and is out for some sort of revenge."

"..is he after you?.."

KAREN grows uneasy, realizing the mistake she made letting BILLY into her home.  She knew she had no way to reach out to Frank, but she did have her pistol in her purse.  She casually stood and moved towards her bag, leaning back against the table to attempt to find the gun without raising much suspicion, but the weapon was nowhere to be found.

"..Oh, Looking for this?"

BILLY says with a psychotic smile as he lifts a small pistol in his hand, dangling it in front of the terrified reporter.  In an instant she tries to run, but he raises the weapon and squeezes the trigger, shooting her in the back and leaving her for dead.  Without a trace of emotion, BILLY wipes his fingerprints from gun and drops it on the floor, leaving the apartment continuing his search for Frank.
