I'd vote for Gates as MVP myself, but I'll take it of it's offered.

Self Vote and finish this!

Gates role of finding 2 out of 3 town was really good. He opened it up down to Powers and me. I think an MVP could be justified for him.

I tried to play a good game this time. Just trying to improve. Not having a scum qt made it hard.

Talon's about to be a 2 time, 2 time MVP.

No, I still would've voted for you because of what Gates said. Or were you hoping we forgot about that?

Gates is town because he was silenced. Talon and Franchise are town because Jon was scum. You're scum because Pancho is town and I'm town. That's why I'm voting for you.

I remembered Gates' post. Your "No proof, just believe me" defense is great. I offered up my night info to confirm Eli was town knowing my death would have validated the claim. What have you contributed to this game other than, "but really guys, I'm town because I say so"?

You laid low until Gates landed you. Franchise sees it. I see it. I hope Gates sees it.

But I voted you yesterday? How is that a bandwagon?

So you're saying if Talon had thrown a vote on Franchise that you would have still voted for me? False. You want the heat off of you so you would jump on whatever vote that wasn't you. We've found our scum, boys. Lynch him and we win.

Vote Gooch

And I've been given another kill. No idea why.

Bandwagon much?

Vote: Powers

Fair. I will lose the ability but at this point I doubt it matters.

Each night I got 3 names, 1 of which is scum.

Night one was Powers, Gooch, Pancho...Pancho turned up town after being mod killed.

Night two was Talon, Franchise, Jon...Jon was scum after we lynched him.

This leads me to believe that Talon and Franchise are town, and that one of Powers or Gooch are scum.

I didn’t get anything night three because I was locked in my room.

The reason why I deduce that Kirk is scum is that if we have 2 scum left, Talon and Franchise are town, I’m town, one of Powers or Gooch are scum...that leaves Kirk as the only person I don’t have an account for.

Okay. I'm caught up. Kirk is the odd man out.

Vote: Kirk

Tomorrow we dine on Powers and win the game.

Unvote

I don't like the vote splitting.

Someone lay out why there is a vote on Kirk? I'm having trouble following.

If the choice is me or Gooch, then it's gotta be Gooch. I know for certain that I'm town. One question before I vote though. Gates, if you were "locked in your room" how were you able to get this intel?

Yikes. Vote: Powers

I know I am what I say I am even though it can't be verified, so that means the other guy is what I am saying that I am not without verification.

Sounds legit.

Investigation proof roles are common, gooch clearing you doesn't do much for me.

I didn't expect for my proclamation to get any traction because I haven't been confirmed town, but just in case I die tonight, I wanted to share what I have for later.

PR CAMPAIGNS

Shaun Day – It’s a New Day - $500k
$250k goes to a branding of Warrior International gear dubbed “Warrior Int’l x New Day Signature Line”. $250k goes to the New Day allowing us to use their song and for the New Day to show up at our first home game and announce our starters.

Thomas Neill – Monster Hunter - $250k
Billboards and a commercial will air that have Thomas Neill lining up against monsters and pancaking them without mercy. The monsters will try to scamper away but he will be relentless. The Billboard will have him standing strong and monsters in the background scurrying away to a bench full of monsters with their heads bandaged, they are on crutches, or they have limbs in slings.

James Fellows - Warrior International: Monsters don't have to say they are Monsters - $250k
A commercial will air that has pundits and talking heads talk about how monsterous the Tulsa Monsters line is, but the next highlight is James Fellows sacking the QB. “These Tulsa Monsters may have the best defensive line in history!” Again followed by Fellows hitting a running back and causing a fumble. More talking heads and more Fellows clips. The end of the commercial has Fellows take off his helmet and steam is coming off his head and he glares into the camera. His eyes turn Mermen turquoise and transform to green and he doesn't say a word. His skin starts to turn green and turns back normal. The screen goes black and a Warrior International logo comes up with “Monsters don’t have to say they are Monsters”

Philly Crowell – Fresh Prince of Strong Beach - $250k
T-Shirt campaign coincides with a TV commercial runs locally with highlights of Philly Crowell’s career. The tag line is used whenever he makes a big play on the field. The crowd enjoys singing along. If he makes a big play that disrupts the offense so bad they call a timeout, the song plays in it’s entirety:

“Now, this is a story all about how,
My life got flipped-turned upside down.
And I’d like to take a minute, keep the game out of reach,
You’ll see how I became the Fresh Prince of Long Beach

In the great town of Philly, I was born and raised
On the ball field, where I swatted balls down most plays.
Chillin’ out, maxing, playing mad game,
Got noticed by a coach at Notre Dame.

I had a great career, got drafted pretty high,
Moved to the beach that’s the strongest, most fly.
This now my kingdom, there’s lessons I’ll teach
Don’t throw it my direction, I’m Fresh Prince of Long Beach

Andre Singh – “Teach the world to Singh” - $250k
The Long Beach Mermen teams with Coca Cola to repise the jingle “I’d like to teach the world to sing” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib-Qiyklq-Q). Coca Cola sees that it can make some inroads to the Indian soda market by utilizing Andre to help with that. Specialized Coca Cola cans will be available at Long Beach games as collectables.

Thomas Large- “Large and In Charge” - $250k
Billboards around town show Thomas Large making Large catches. Bobblehand Doll will be sold at Home Games. His hands are large on the doll and you can bobble the hands and he will still catch the ball. He’s large and in charge and going to catch the ball.

MUSICAL LICENSES

1. “New Day, New Way” by WWE/CFO$ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EouGBfDwrN0)
Every time that Shaun Day throws for a 1st down, you can hear Big E shout out “It’s a New Day! Yes, it is!” If he makes a pass over 50 yards for a TD the song will play as the players celebrate in the end zone.

2. “Strong Beach” The Anphonix (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RW7iKyim5s)
To be used after a victory or during a game when the team needs a boost. The beat goes hard and the fans will love shouting “STRONG!”

I was told that I would not have a first night ability but I would have a second night ability. I used my night ability to check on Eli because I don't like how he is playing. He came back as town. I know that there is nothing to corroborate my townness, but I want you to throw it out there. I received a message back saying I would not have any more actions. So this is my card and I wanted to lay it down.

Yeah I'm feeling the Powers vote myself. Personally what Gooch came out with feels like something meant to draw attention away from Powers or provide an excuse for him.. Scummy vibes from both Gooch and Powers but I'll go with my gut here.

Vote Powers

????

I was trying what I thought was Talon's info with Power's info. There was no diversion. I'm trying to play smarter.

17
Kirk is listed as being Boba on the characters list.

Oh wow...my bad.

18
I personally think that Powers has a lie detector. His unvote and Talon's action leads me to believe Kirk may be Boba, but that Boba is town.

...I'd play, but that wouldn't be very fair :P

Just dont come asking me for extra stats ;)

I'm planning on something really simple this first year. There are multiple reasons for this. 1) It should be easier to do. 2) It will have me looking at every game, every week to get me better acquainted with players I may not pay attention to.

I'm thinking of doing this for the first year:

QB
QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
FLEX
K
BENCH
BENCH
BENCH

Each week people would just send their starters. I can make an excel sheet that I can make the points add up the right way. I'll just be putting stats in. Same as regular football. 15 yards passing = 1 point. TD = 6. 10 yards rushing and receiving are 1 point. Etc. Fumble = -3. Just do something somewhat easy and add a little bit of fun.

I'd only want a few teams this season. But if it's something that isn't going to be fun, I'll try to think of something else.

Any thoughts?
