I trust that we have the assets to do just that. I don't want us to come up lacking in the secondary though, this will be a good test for us before having to face off with Ortega and the Nighthawks nightmare of an offense...And defense for that matter.

How do you think we'll do offensively against these Killer Whales?

Iíve put in what I think is a good offer, weíll see where we stand with it.

I managed to obtain Aaron painter from Lincolnís minor affiliate the Omaha Mannings. Did you want to assess him? Heís raw, but I think he has potential

1. Talk us through this weeks game. What went wrong?  What went right?

What a performance out there! Gio and the receiving corps looked great, while the defense made big stops out there multiple times. And Bobby Wilder! That kid stepped up huge in the locker room, and out in the field. What a day he had! Things are coming together for us and I can't be more excited.

2. The XFL and AAF have been very quiet since their championship games received very low viewership, do you believe there is room for that many professional football league's in America?

There are lots and lots of high level, and potential high level players out there, and there are a finite number of spots on HIFL level teams. I love the competition, and I love that there are multiple ways for talented kids to play ball.

3. Talk about something going on around the league this season that has interested you in one way or another.

Vegas being 0-3 is shocking. Boatwright going down to injury is terrible for the #1 pick. Ortega is playing out of his mind. Music City is undefeated. There are plenty of incredible storylines in the league this year, just like every year.

4. What do you make of the incredible season Jamie Ortega is having this year, first place in passing and rushing TDs, as well as rushing yards all while only having one interception on the season.. is that MVP Caliber in your eyes, and if not, who is your early favorite for league MVP?

I mean....his play speaks for itself. But I think it's too early to be talking MVP's, regardless of how amazing his play has been.

5. Talk to us about your upcoming game this week.  What will be the key to victory?

Milwaukee is flying high after their first road win. I'm sure they're going to arrive riding high on adrenaline, and ready to repeat that result. We need to contain their high octane offense to prevent that result.

Any further questions?

How's it goin' everyone let's get this started.

1. Talk us through this weeks game. What went wrong?  What went right?

We did a great establishing our presence on the offensive side of the ball. Once again getting the running game going opened up everything for us. Joan Swope being the defensive great that he is doing an amazing job with his schemes. I also have to give our Defensive Coordinator Felix Duran props for helping our secondary play well after Luis Paulson went down. Everything communicated, everyone played with focus and I'm proud of them. Despite some pass protection hiccups here and there we played great. Like I said we had to watch out for their defensive line, especially Jerry Worthington if we wanted to win this thing and for the most part we did just that.

2. The XFL and AAF have been very quiet since their championship games received very low viewership, do you believe there is room for that many professional football league's in America?

Sometimes there really is too much of a good thing. I love football, it's great, but sometimes fans can get burned out on a game that happens once every year. There's going to be oversaturation, and I'm sure the owners of both leagues know this. There's going to have to find their niche and go with that if they want to survive because those numbers are a bit troubling on their behalf.

3. Talk about something going on around the league this season that has interested you in one way or another.

Ace Profits has gone on record of saying Mr. Tong has been spying on their practices. Nevermind Coach Swope is a great coach who last year led a great defense in St. Paul. That's throwing dirt on that man's name and to respond to such an outlandish accusation with no proof shows that Ace Profits is nothing more than a dullard playing Owner. He can say whatever he wants to these other GM's, I'm not taking the bait. They lost and we won, so we'll leave it at that.

4. What do you make of the incredible season Jamie Ortega is having this year, first place in passing and rushing TDs, as well as rushing yards all while only having one interception on the season.. is that MVP Caliber in your eyes, and if not, who is your early favorite for league MVP?

The guy's been doing this way before I took this job. This is who Jamie Ortega is, and he's doing it in style. I got nothing but respect for the man. If he keeps this up at this pace I don't see why he wouldn't be MVP.

5. Talk to us about your upcoming game this week.  What will be the key to victory?

This game is important to us because we hope to celebrate my uncle's long career in New Jersey. We announced earlier this week that we'd be having an appreciation night for Coach Benson Stark. This is for the New Jersey fans, a night celebrating what it means to be a Dragon. I read the news report that GM Rebel picked up Corey Rizzo so now they have someone under center who can sling the ball. Our defense has to be prepared for any and all looks they might give us. I'm sure this would mean a lot to Coach Swope being able to coach against his former team and win. We do what we did last game, we play disciplined and play fast. I think we can take this home game if we follow that formula again.

Forget that one. With Boatwright out for the year, I went and got us a new WR. Hopefully that keeps us on track this week and we can hand Las Vegas a beating. Everyone else has been gunning at Shelley with a lot of success and I think we continue that trend. We blitz the shit out of them and run right through them. I'm thinking 60% blitz to help the pass rush, which hasn't really been getting it done so far. Any objection?

SEATTLE LUMBERJACKS
PRESS CONFERENCE

SEASON 11 - WEEK 3

1. Talk us through this weeks game. What went wrong?  What went right?

"Man this was a disappointing loss as I no doubt believe we're a better football team than Kansas City. The two turnovers turned out to be the difference in the game, but we're a much better team then how we played. I think we still did really well offensively moving the ball and defensively, we limited Mariota to throwing on us a ton, but they kept the ball moving with their run game too consistently. We'll revenge this loss when we meet them in KC later this season."

2. The XFL and AAF have been very quiet since their championship games received very low viewership, do you believe there is room for that many professional football league's in America?

"I think there is room to coexist with the HIFL, but not to be a competitive league in terms of rivaling HIFL. This leagues come with the mindset of trying to take what the HIFL has, instead, they should work more towards with working with them then against them."

3. Talk about something going on around the league this season that has interested you in one way or another.

"How about Luis Gustafson? Incredible performance that shows just how versatile of a player he is. A really nice draft find by Charlotte a few seasons back."

4. What do you make of the incredible season Jamie Ortega is having this year, first place in passing and rushing TDs, as well as rushing yards all while only having one interception on the season.. is that MVP Caliber in your eyes, and if not, who is your early favorite for league MVP?

"Right now, Ortega has the numbers. But Meek has done a pretty outstanding job in Music City, leading them to a undefeated record through 3 games. But... it's been 3 games. Way too early to be asking this type of question."

5. Talk to us about your upcoming game this week.  What will be the key to victory?

"Lincoln is as tough of a football team in this league as any. I'm not sure who will be the quarterback for them against us, because I think I heard some rumors of it maybe being Aaron Kitchen. I'm not sure there, but either way, we'll need to play aggressive and control the clock to even up our record at the quarter-way mark."

They're a tough squad, but they are loss on offense right now. We just have to shut down the run game.
