How long until it was changed though? What was it, just curious?

I'm just saying that, if it's changed, technically, Gotch defeated Enzo to win.

Also, did we get points if we had Steph or Shane since they both were given control of RAW.

Are you saying like a half point? Or a full point? Because I'd disagree with a full point.

I generally run on the live results, thus the tag match result being a no-contest. It's part of it being a PPV prediction contest that I stand by the on-the-night results rather than changing when things get switched around on Raw the next night.

Side note - I haven't seen Raw, but from what I can tell the Vaudevillains have been given the Number 1 Contenders spot "by default" as one of their opponents is injured, thus unable to finish the match.

As for the Steph & Shane result - Currently, nobody has anything from it.. However, I'd considered giving Pancho the point for it, as the technical outcome was NEITHER being given full control of Raw.

Actually, consider that active... PANCHO has +1 point for his "NEITHER" outcome of the Raw decision.

Depends on how you view a "Neither" vote. It could be a prediction for "Someone else" (e.g if Vince had taken power, or brought in a new GM) or mean "neither is given control" (like the situation we have now).

My intention was for it to mean any outcome that covered neither person being chosen, which is how I've applied it.

VINCE McMAHON ANNOUNCES WHO CONTROLS RAW
Stephanie McMahon vs Shane McMahon vs Neither
(I know, not technically a match, but we can predict on it in the same way so I'm counting it)

This does not say "FULL CONTROL" it says "control"  ...Shane has control of raw as of the PPV.  Steph has control of raw as of the PPV... You can not argue that neither of them got control of raw.

I continue to protest this decision.

If they are both given control, how does neither have control? That doesn't make sense.

As for the tag thing, wwe.com says no contest for the match on the Payback results.

I continue to protest this decision.

Again, see this line:

My intention was for it to mean any outcome that covered neither person being chosen

Thus, your options as provided were:

Vince gives STEPHANIE/THE AUTHORITY the control of Raw, Shane no longer in power
Vince gives SHANE the control of Raw, Stephanie/The Authority no longer in power
Vince picks NEITHER of them - Which is what he did. He said "I'm not going to choose, you're going to keep fighting and arguing, so you BOTH control of Raw".

However, as I'm getting fed up of the arguing, I'm going to reset the scores to ignore that prediction completely and effectively remove it from the contest.

There's a lot of debate over a single point, and a lot about interpretation & semantics. From now on expect Prediction Contest posts to be three times longer as I attempt to make every available option 100% unarguably clear.

Also, I expect this to mean that we can argue against judge rulings we disagree with in the sim games and expect our cases to be considered, even if they involve people taking things out of how they're intended to be seen and twisting them to their own benefit  :P

UPDATED TO EXTREME RULES

A joint win for TALON and DIGGER at what turned out to be a fairly predictable night. Pretty much the entire show went as I'd have guessed with little to no surprises in the actual match results.

Overall GOOCH now has a solo lead over the competition, aided by BLACK DEATH not showing.
DIGGER & TALON sit in second and third above our reigning champ POWERS.
Meanwhile, FRANCHISE's return sees him slot in at the bottom of the table after the lowest score thus-far in S3.

Our next main-roster event will be MONEY IN THE BANK in June, with the first chance for a tiebreak bonus to be picked up in the signature match.

HOWEVER: The NXT TAKEOVER currently has 4 matches announced (I'd prefer 5 so hope there's another in the works)... If there's interest, I'll throw up a predictions thread for that next week.

UPDATED TO MONEY IN THE BANK

With 12 participants, MITB was our most active round this season! Impressively, half of those players managed to correctly predict the winner of the show's signature match, earning themselves the first of our bonus tie-breakers (could they be crucial come Wrestlemania?).

GOOCH and POWERS top-scored on the night, both earning double the points of our lowest scorer, TALON.

In terms of the overall, it's GOOCH just ahead of POWERS, with DIGGER in third (I'm getting a sense of deja-vu here). However, the overall gap at the top extends, with first place going from 1 to 4 points clear, a safety cushion now greater than a correct Main Event prediction.

Further down, TALON and TJ are just ahead of HOLLY via match points, while our pair of newcomers (BANKS and T-BONE) score well on their debuts to sit just above PANCHO and BD (who both missed the event).

We return at the end of July with BATTLEGROUND, traditionally a "transitional" PPV as WWE builds the angles into Summerslam... but that doesn't always mean "predictable"....

I'm confused, maybe it's just the wording (I honestly don't remember the scores pre-MITB). How did Gooch's lead "extend" when we had the same MITB scores (15+3=18)?

Prior to MITB it was Gooch, Digger (+1), Talon (+2), You (+4) at the top of the table.

With Digger scoring 5 fewer points overall, and Talon 9 fewer, both dropped down the standings.

So while the gap between Gooch & yourself remains the same, the difference between first and second place has increased. Thus my pointing out his first place becoming more secure.

UPDATED FOR BATTLEGROUND

POWERS continues his upward trend in form, taking the overall win on the night. HOLLY comes in second, with series leader GOOCH third. TALON comes in a distant last, scoring half the points of our winner.

As for the overall table... GOOCH still sits on top, but sees his lead halved by POWERS, which will put the pressure on going into our next round.
HOLLY takes the biggest move, jumping up from 6th to 4th.

We shall return August 20/21 with a DOUBLE HEADER! Not only will SUMMERSLAM get a prediction thread, but I'll also be posting one for NXT TAKEOVER: BACK TO BROOKLYN the night before! This means extra points up for grabs for all involved.

ALSO - Post Summerslam the Brand Split/Extension goes into full effect, including split PPVs for Raw & Smackdown. This means more events, more points to pick up, and greater opportunity for the standings to have a big shakeup.

UPDATED TO SUMMERSLAM WEEKEND

Firstly, welcome to SANDS, our 13th participant this season!

The results of the weekend can be summarised thusly:
- Those that entered both events moved up
- Those that entered only one moved down (most notably HOLLY, falling from 4th to 7th, and blaming me for not reminding her about the NXT event)

The SUMMERSLAM thread itself saw a Brock Lesnar-esque demolition from the Prediction Contest Beast, POWERS. His margin of victory is the biggest we've had since I started running the contest, scoring a huge 7 points more than second placed JON.

As for the overall standings.. Well, it should come as no surprise that POWERS sits top of the table once again. He moves from two points behind GOOCH to now sit 9 points clear at the top. That's the equivalent of three main-event predictions.

DIGGER stays in third, with TALON & JON sharing 4th place.

All is not lost, however... September brings with it the start of BRAND EXCLUSIVE PPVs.

This means double the number of prediction threads and more points on offer most months. POWER's "Three-peat" is far from guaranteed.

Our next two events will be BACKLASH and CLASH OF CHAMPIONS.

Updated to BACKLASH

TALON takes the victory, scoring 13 points to just edge out DIGGER with 12. A fairly bunched field saw our lowest scorers (HOLLY & REBEL) only slightly behind on 9 points.

On the overall table there is little change, the only major movement coming as HOLLY hops back over TJ for 6th place, aided by the latter not participating in this PPV.
However, it should not go unmentioned that POWERS has become the first player to break the 100 point mark this season.. And in the process sneaked another point further ahead, his lead over second-placed GOOCH now a full 10 points.

It's a short turnaround to the RAW-exclusive PPV CLASH OF CHAMPIONS at the end of September (I won't go into my opinions on WWE missing an opportunity with that PPV name).... While Smackdown LIVE confirmed that their next event is NO MERCY at the start of October. I'll see you all again for them.

UPDATED TO CLASH OF CHAMPIONS.

A fairly even night, with the scores once again bunched up. It seems Brand Split PPVs are Predictable PPVs for the most part.

POWERS increases his lead by another point, slipping out to be now 11 points ahead. Everyone else that participated stays where they are, except with more points now (exception made for REBEL, who is climbing up past people who have missed the few events since he joined).

Our next PPV is NO MERCY, roughly two weeks from now. Will it continue the trend of easily-guessed results? Join us in October to find out!

UPDATED TO NO MERCY.

In a shock move... POWERS came LAST on the night! (Or was it a ploy, scoring the exact amount to take his match points to 100?)

However, his nearest rival GOOCH was unable to capitalise, only scoring one more point on the night, meaning the gap at the top still sits in double figures (currently 10 points).

Congratulations to JON on his victory, which also sees him overtake TALON on the overall table by way of match points, the only movement as a result of the PPV.

Next comes HELL IN A CELL at the end of October. As usual, thread will go up in the days following the go-home show.

Right, catch up done... All results to SURVIVOR SERIES added.

Two notes:

1 - Going to skip the TakeOver for ease.

2 - Royal Rumble will act as a tester for if this continues long-term, or if we get to Wretlemania to determine which of the active players gets the crown. While I enjoy running the game, I'm not sure if I'll continue if only two or three people are playing.

(Rumble Thread imminent... Now going to write it up)

We have RUMBLE'd!

POWERS wins... Again... JON comes a close second. HOLLY joins the pair in predicting the Rumble winner, and is the only other person in double figures.

And we have a newcomer! Welcome CORY!

On the overall table PANCHO is the only mover, breaking into the top 10.
POWERS lead was knocked down to four by the Survivor Series weekend, but is now back out to a whopping FOURTEEN points. Given average scoring over recent times he could take a show off and still have a lead.
The battle for second is still on though, with GOOCH and DIGGER two points apart.

ELIMINATION CHAMBER will feature high points scoring opportunities in the titular match (see thread I'll post in a moment).

BACKLASH has been added to the scores.

POWERS once again takes the win, and extends his lead by a further point over GOOCH on the overall table. Nobody else makes any moves in terms of the overall scores.

FASTLANE is our final event before our end of season showdown. Who will take the momentum into the show of shows? Find out this Sunday!

Updated to TAKEOVER ORLANDO and WRESTLEMANIA.

The double-header season finale saw HOLLY scoop what I believe is the only full-100% (Match AND Bonuses) of the season at NXT: Orlando. This was followed by GOOCH taking the honours at the stupidly-long season finale show.

But what does it mean for the overall?

Well, once again...

POWERS WIN THE CORBIN WWE PREDICTION CONTEST

12 months ago it went down to the wire and was decided by a single point... But Season 3 was a blowout. The final lead was 13 points over Runner-Up GOOCH, with third place JON a further 20(!) points back.

As always, end-of-season feedback on the Prediction Contest is welcomed, including the usual "Continue: YES/NO".

I had intended to post a thread for the PPV later tonight. Was hoping we'd get some indication of what the House of Horrors match actually is so I could build a bonus question around it, but WWE have been vague with the details (dammit!)

Updated to PAYBACK.

GOOCH gets the first win, with POWERS not far behind.. I have a strange feeling of deja-vu....

A spread of 9 points from top to bottom means there's already some catching up to be done by people, but with plenty of time to do it there's no need to panic just yet for last-placed CORY.

NXT TAKEOVER: CHICAGO and BACKLASH to follow.

Extreme Rules is indeed tomorrow, but I've been having laptop trouble the last couple of days (although it could equally be internet connection trouble) so I've not been able to get online properly to post the contest thread. Things seem to have settled now, so it might have been cable work in the area by my ISP as they seem to be forever doing that (a "perk" of living in a rural area is the sloooooow progress they make in moving things forwards to wards fibre optic).

With only 24 hours to go I'll leave it up to people on here as I don't want to feel I'm being unfair by having such a short window so not everyone gets to play.

If there's enough interest declared by midnight GMT (approx 7.5 hrs from now) I'll post a thread then and give people tomorrow to predict the outcomes.

Digger & Powers, your interest is already noted by the above.
