GM Jon, I'm Michael, Michael Royal.   Man, it's awesome to finally get to speak to you in person dude. I've been looking up to you since high school man, and when I got to OSU I realized what a legend you were on campus bro.  So when you won your first title in Wyoming I was thrilled, when you won back to back titles in Seattle, I was just proud to know we went to the same school, but when I learned you were taking over my team, man... I was like... "dude"  I'm the luckiest guy a live, man.

I just wanted to call you before we report to the facility for training camps to let you know that I am going to be giving you my all to prove that I deserve to be the starting QB for the Cobras man.

"Michael, thanks for taking the time to call me. I've only heard good things about you from OSU alumni and members of this organization. It was a pleasure to watch you on Saturdays in Corvallis and I'm looking forward to working with you here in DC. The QB position is one that we do not have a starter pin'd in for yet and I think you, Sullivan, and Patton will bring the best out in each other while competing for it. I know Coach Saint thinks highly of all three of you. So continue the hard work Michael and good luck out there!"

You only get drafted once, so really take in the full experience of it all and enjoy the rest of your off season. If at any time you have any questions, I'm only a phone call away. "Lolly, can we get Eli Harris on the line please."

-----

"Eli Harris, GM Jon here. We haven't formally met yet, but I look forward to working with you and your clients. I'm calling in reference to your client Bobby Meek. We are very interested in seeing him in a Cobra uniform next season and under the high powered offense of Shaun Saint, we think he will excel. I'm not going to blow smoke up your ass though, we know we're in a rebuilding process here, so I won't try to sell Bobby on us being a winner, because we're not there yet. So I'll try to sell you on my vision. Everyone knows I know how to win, but honestly, that doesn't mean anything here in the HIFL. This is a different beast. This isn't basketball... this isn't baseball... and I haven't done anything to merit any credibility in the sport of football yet. I know how to manage though. I know people. I know how to get the right personal to build a winner. I can't promise titles. I can't promise the playoffs. But I can promise Bobby that he'll have a general manager that will work night and day to get this franchise... get this team... to a Impact Bowl... to a championship. We think Bobby is entering the prime of his career and deserves a contract to justify that, but also understand that he may not be seeking a long term contract with a team he doesn't feel will be a winner any time soon. So I'd like to offer Bobby a 1 year, $6 million, $1 million PR deal and if he likes the progress of what we're trying to accomplish here, we can talk a long term deal at that point. What do you say Eli?"

"Lolly, can we get James T. Crain on the line to discuss a contract for Domonic Jackson."

-----

"JTC! How you doing, old friend? We were really impressed with what we saw on film from Dom and and during his visit to our facilities. We know he was bottled down on a deep depth chart in Vegas, and we think under the vision of Coach Saint, he will have many more opportunities to stretch his wings. Our offer for Dom to be a Cobra is a 3 year deal, $3 million."

"Good deal! Welcome Dom to DC for us!"

-----

"Lolly, can we please get David Ames on the line."

-----

"David, how are ya? Here to talk about singing your client, Richard Ray. We had a good visit with him and I think he could develop into an even better receiver under the guidance of Coach Saint. Like I've had conversations with him about, we're in a rebuilding process, but if Richard were to sign with us, he'd be one of the pieces we try and build around as a core of this offense. We're a young team and over time, we're only going to get better. If after one year, you and your client doesn't like the direction this franchise is heading in, then they'll be no bad blood if you decide to sign with a different team... that is why I'd like to bring Richard on board with a 1 year, $5 million, $1 million PR deal."

After speaking with the league office and hearing they haven't received our contract, we have informed them we are still on the market, sorry but Jersey is coming hard for us and Bobby prefers them to DC, so let me know if you're standing fast on your offer, or if you want to give it another boost.

"Pleasure, as always Mike."

"Alright Lolly, that's it for us. Here in DC, we're not cutting or amnestying anyone. From what I've seen, nobody has done anything to deserve such a fate. Hold my calls for now while I prepare to get all the needed information into the league office. Thanks Lolly."

- 2 minute commercial:
Footage of a game is seen as two teams get set at the line of scrimmage. Before the ball is snapped, the camera pans up to the scoreboard to show a 6 point lead for the team on defense with one second on the clock. The ball is on the one yard line as the ball is snapped and handed to the running back, the back fakes up the middle and tries to take the wide route.... as he is about to dive into the end zone, but he is plowed at the goalline, just before the ball can cross the plane. The impact rocks the stadium as the defender looks down at his victim, the last name Stevens seen on the back of the jersey. The scoreboard is flashed again, showing the final score as it pans back to Larry Stevens, now with a DC Cobras cape with the slogan: Captain Clutch. (1M)

David Putnam (1.5 mil) - "Putnam Island"
- 2 Minute Commerical:
Footage opens up to a deserted island shaped like the Cobras logo. Lots of people wearing other HIFL team jerseys are on the island it begins to sort of "rain" footballs. The thing is though... nobody is catching them at all. It quickly flashes to Putnam on the field batting down passes and making an interception, before the tagline: Nobody catches a pass on Putnam Island flashes on the screen. (1M)
