The way my agent told me about this shit was simple, the GM has to take "x" dollars and get you known locally, nationally, globally... just depends on how good he is..

I don't think you're supposed to be asking us players how to use the PR unless we come to you with something like "I want to sign for X and X, but also need X to donate to [charity name here].

Commercials, tag lines, things like that are what you're supposed to be doing here, not giving away money on our behalf.. Most of us want to see ourselves on TV or billboards getting people hyped..

Totally agree and understand I only ask because sometimes another way to get known and recognized especially in the state you play in is by doing things with the youth programs and or small donations to local schools. I just like to keep all options open and let the player know that there is more than one way to get that positive publicity and fan fare. I also know how to make guys look like superstars in commercials and billboards. I'll take care of you. This town will be DC's town!

Thank You Mr Crowe, I understand you don't want to see this great franchise fall to the waist side like the last GM let fall. I am not him, I am committed. I appreciate that you are trying to teach me through tough love and sometimes that comes with a heavy hand, but I believe in communication which is funny considering before the trade that is what you asked for and I didn't do my part. But, again, I believe anything and everything can be talked about in a respectful manner. Never a need to raise one's voice, I currently have Mr. Ames on the line finalizing a deal for his client. I apologize Mr Crowe, I understand the rules you put in place and as a rookie GM it will do me good to sit back and let things come to me and just happen. I just figured because picks or players weren't departing the franchise, that acquiring picks would be a good thing. But, you made a rule and I didn't follow suit so I get it. Being around so many GM's I have picked up some good habits, like being ready and knowledgeable at the draft which I think so far I have proven. Like having a plan which we can see coming to fruition. And like having a focus which the draft is proving I do. Unfortunately, I have also picked up what I see now to be some questionable habits which I will soon lose. I'll figure it out. I'll continue with the draft and be sure to use that 6th round pick I acquired for nothing as best as I could. Now I have to sign our latest talent, linebacker Leland Creamer before his agent thinks I'm ignoring him. I would hate to get on a bad side of an agent. Last thing I need is to try and sign a player or visit one in his home and I get locked out. Once again, thank you Mr Crowe.

-----

Sorry about that Mr Ames, Mr Crowe and I had an agreement and I went astray.  I agree to 4 years at 2.25M per, Thank you.

(After GM Lucas is done finalizing the deal. It seems as if though the needle has come off the record. He looks around as his coaches quickly turn their attention to their laptops. He watches Mr. Crowe leave his area once again. He looks up at the owners box were the share holders are all talking among themselves while looking down at him. He looks at a few GM's who are either whispering with their people, shaking their heads or obviously chuckling at his expense. He then stares out and just continues to look forward with a blank stare. After a few he grabs a sip of water from his water bottle and gets back on his phone)

Can't believe he was still available. I can't wait to see him on the field

----

Ms. Watson can you get me offense coordinator Shannon Bowman

-----

Mr. Bowman, As you can see I didn't forget about the offense. I got one hell of a QB and what I think is the best RB in the draft. With that said, I know you ran a Shotgun offense with a RB committee. With the QB, WR's and RB we have at the moment do you see yourself running the same offense and if so where would you like me to look. I have another solid RB in my targets or should I try and solidify the WR/TE group.

Have a good evening.

-----

Ms Watson since we have some time before our next draft pick I would like to get some of the guys and introduce myself. Can you please send in our young new defense;
CB Eric Evans, CB James Cavanuagh, LB Leland Creamer, LB Harold Van Buren, DT Brian Ezell, DT Rex Mundy. Thank you.

----

Gentlemen, it's my honor and pleasure to welcome you to Atlanta. While most other GM's like to do the meet and greet upon signing I like to bring all this young talent into one room and take a good look at the future of the Atlanta Warriors defense. I also like you all to meet one another. I know a few of you played in college together already like Mr Ezell and Mr.Creamer who did some great things in Oklahoma. I also do it this way because I want everyone in this room to take a look around and notice the men who are going to have your back out there week in and week out. I want everyone to get acclimated with one another when the time comes. I run this ship with full transparency so please know I will always be honest and straight forward. With that said I will tell you that all of you have the opportunity to be great on this team. Your signing guarantees that you have an opportunity to get on the field and compete for the starting job. It also guarantees that if you work hard and leave it all out on that field, that your contribution will pave the way for the success of you and your team. Starting or next man up is all about equity within our ranks. Talent begets talent. Gentlemen, welcome to Warrior Nation.

Ms Watson can you get me the newest members to our O-line before they decide to depart. Please call in Allan King, Danny Kirkland and Darrell Hendrickson, thank you.

----

Gentlemen, Welcome to Atlanta. Welcome to Warrior Nation. It's my pleasure and honor to have you play for the Atlanta Warriors. You guys have the hardest job in the world and it doesn't get easier. You are at the next level. What makes this a unique and amazing opportunity is that you all along with qb Tommy Mazza and RB Daniel Collins will all go into camp together as the HIFL draft class of 2019 and I think that connection can create a special bond between men who all need one another for the success of each other. Gentlemen, as you know the success of our team is based on your success in the trenches. You three along with Esparaza, Seal, Duckett and Perryman are our offense. I think we are going to surprise many people. Come training camp you all will have the opportunity to lace up your cleats and compete for the starting job. You all will compete to first in line and for the opportunity to be the next man up. There are no second stringers here. There are only men who are ready to come at the same level as the man they are replacing and perform at the same level. Finally gentlemen, being a pro is a much different life than being in College so please take advantage at the fact that my door is always open. Thank you gentlemen. Now I know I took you away from a celebration with family and friends. Enjoy, soon, we will get to work.

Good evening, I believe in second chances. I also believe one night shouldn't ruin a career. With that said I would like to offer your client Wendall Lawrence a negotiable deal. I would like to give him 1 year 500 K for an opportunity to prove everyone wrong and earn a starting job. If he beats out my current kicker on the roster and is chosen as the starter by my coaches I will redo his contract at 3 years 1M

great, can you send Julio in, thank Mr. Ames, always a pleasure doing business with you.

Mr. Redd, it's a pleasure to welcome you to Atlanta. I hope everything in Atlanta makes you as comfortable as you were in Missouri. I feel more confident today then I did yesterday about the success of our offense.

We are glad to have a talent like yourself on the roster. My doors are always open. I know the transition from college to pro's could be tough but I get a feeling you'll be alright!. Sorry to pull you from your celebration, go and be with your family, soon we will all be putting in work.

Ms Watson can you get me Kicker Wendall Lawrence

---

Mr. Lawrence, Welcome to Warrior Nation, it's a pleasure to have you as part of this team. After a weird and underwhelming day you had at the combine, I know you are ready to prove all those teams that passed up on you wrong and put a few 60 yarders through the uprights, and I can't wait to see it.

I have high expectations for everyone on this team, including myself. I assume you have some high expectations for yourself also. I am just excited to have a talented player like yourself on our side. Can't wait to see what you can do out there.

I hold myself to a high frick'in standard guy, but 60 yards routinely is not something anyone should expect regularly, buddy.  I don't know aboot you, but I'd be choked if your offense can't get me closer than 60 out.
