What was your biggest takeaway from your game this week?
I think the biggest take away is that we have to play to our strengths which is looking more and more like what coach Munoz has put forward in our game plan.
With your record at mid-season, how would you grade the first half of Season 11 for your franchise based on your pre-season expectations?
I hate to say this but hot and cold. If I go by what I truly feel we should be then disappointing. We lost some games that we definitely should have not lost. If I look at this from the lens of growing, maturing and learning our playbook then we are on target. Either way you look at it, we are at .500 which is a big step moving forward because we haven't been in this position at this point in the season for a long time now.
At mid-season, which of your players would you consider an underrated performer who deserves more recognition?
Well on the offense side of the ball I think our O-line has been doing a good job opening holes for our running game and protecting our QB. On the defense side of the ball I think Newly acquired Gerald Roberts have been stepping up in Fellows absence.
Three weeks before the All-Star game, who do you believe is a lock from your team to be selected for the game?
It's hard but I can't ignore the job Shrader has been doing. D.C is putting up some real solid YPC numbers. Our pair of second year DT's Mundy and Ezell have really upped their game. Let's not forget when Pitts is healthy he is a lethal weapon. I'm sure I could find a reason for everyone to be selected but those are the definite standouts.
With the trade deadline upon us, do you see your team as a buyer, a seller, or neutral? ...and what is it you are looking for on the trade market?
at 4 and 4 staying put would mean we are perfect where we are which we aren't. Being sellers would tell those men it's time to start packing it up, so we definitely not selling. That leaves one selection left and all Ic an say is stay tuned.
