I'm always a believer of taking the best player available.  If you focus too much on one position you reach and end up taking Marvin Swanson in the top 10.

That's true. Outside of the FG players, are there any players you'd really prefer to see back with us next season and any you'd rather be gone?

I think our core players on the roster are obviously Mazza, Redd, Fellows, Evans,  Little Mazza, and Scotty.. outside of that, I'm fine with guys staying or leaving, but no one is irreplaceable.

Thank you for all your help this season. I hope to be working with you again.

---

Messrs Brewster and Rodriguez

Guys, thank you for your efforts this season. It's been a tough one but you have done your best but it's been a big ask in your rookie season. Unfortunately I will not be renewing your contract as I am going in the direction of more experienced coordinators in the future.

Thank you both for your time

GM Wrong.. What can I say?  This was probably the worst case scenario, no .. the tie made it the second-worst case scenario.  We have now done something no team has ever done before. back to back seasons without a single win.

I know you can right this ship, the fact that Lincoln is the #1 seed in the entire league is proof of that, but I just hope we show a serious step in the right direction next season.

I don't like the idea of terminating your contract prematurely, but if we don't show progress in the first half of next season serious changes could need to be made.  I want you to be aggressive in your pursuit of talent this off-season.  I don't want us missing out on our top targets.  Is that clear?

I aim to use the first overall to bring in another franchise talent.

I aim to use the other picks to keep building this team up. If I am not bringing you wins by the halfway mark next season, you won't have to fire me. Thank you for allowing me to keep trying to prove myself

Don't be afraid to pursue you talent in free agency either.  They have a track record to base them on.

Good luck this off-season, take the post-season off and try to relax, if you don't this job will kill you.

I'll try with both of those things but investing in talent may be tricky with what we've invested in big pieces and I will do my best to make that happen

Ms. Barracuda has asked me to keep you up to date with our current situation.

If you look at the league community sheet you will find our current roster.

If you look at the Community Restricted Free Agent List you will see all the RFA's in the league and you should be able to find our own.

If you look at the League Community Coaching Sheet you will see all currently registered coaches.  We can sign other teams minor league coaches to be our own coordinators or head coach; or we can choose from the list of available options in free agency.

The league is allowing us to contact up to 4 players' agents during the coaching signing period. They can be our own RFA's or our own contracted players to try to get a deal worked out to either bring them back (RFA's) or restructure/extend their current deals (our current contracted players).

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Excellent. Thank you.

Dallas Prince please.

Mr Prince, I'm looking for a man to guide an offensive revolution here in Atlanta and I was hoping that you might be interested in the OC role we have open.

I feel you were treated badly I'm DC and were really shining. Would you feel you could work the challenge that is Atlanta and help turn our fortunes around?

We are obviously lacking in the receivers department, but at a glance of our current team, would you be able to identify the other big holes that we have and what would you say they would be?

I think you could upgrade at nearly every position on the offense.  Running back, your second guard, your second tackle even.. but I don't know the kids you have on the team and what upside they have.  This is from an outsiders perspective.  You would need a quality tight end who can block to really make the run game work as well.

Excellent stuff. I echo those sentiments and I feel you could be the man I need. I'm not going to beat around the bush. GM Dazz did you dirty.

I'd like to offer you a 3 year, 7.5mm deal. This is a rise on what you were on in DC and allows you the security of working with a stellar coaching team on a tough project.

It would be good to coach guys like Evans and Stephens; I run a conservative defense that focuses on building up the secondary and playing the pass well, so reinforcing the run D in the front seven is important.

The Linebackers are aight, I think they can be good enough, but I think if you add one more big player there the LBs are way better.   Fellows needs a better running mate.  The DT's are solid enough and look powerful as hell.

I love loud aggressive and confident players who hit hard and bring the swagger of champions to the turf.  I want a big powerful bull rusher on one side and a fast agile speed rusher on the other, strong run stuffers in the middle and a hyper athletic sideline to sideline linebacker behind them. That's the key to starting the foundation.

Kelvin Hart please.

Kelvin, I feel like Stan in that Eminem song whose name escapes me. I sent you texts but there must be a problem with the signal.

Back before the draft you said consider my offer considered for Roy. I've upped it to 2 years, 650k...

SEASON 14 - TRAINING CAMP

1. Welcome back, lets talk off-season.  What was your off-season like, what was your biggest addition to your team, and who is someone you wish you didn't lose?
Our off season was busy but productive. We had to make sweeping changes and I think we have. Offensively we have made huge strides in terms of offensive improvement with Ulysses Jacks and Roy Chandler bringing rookie enthusiasm. Then we have a homecoming in terms of Big Zeke coming home. I know he has had his critics in the past few seasons but this year this team has a point to prove.
Defensively Ah Sam and Sanderson are vital additions with the rookie Linebackers looking to make huge strides going forward.

2. Discuss any news that stood out to you from the off-season.
Peerless Adams needs a strong arm around his shoulder to encourage his off field antics while keeping him focused on his on field performance. I have done it before with some great talent in the past and I wonder if GM Bennett is a strong enough character to do the same.
It's always nice when there's a friendly rivalry between teammates and I hope Welker's positive attitude is maintained if the upstart rookie outshines him at their competition. I would also hope that this is a competition that doesn't end with a hostage situation.
I'm hoping Mr Obaje has kept his harddrive clean after being a victim of cybercrime.
Now I'm going to have to be forgiven but how is the term Warrior or the use of headdresses in any way offensive? I'm wondering if the large hairy gay community are offended by using Bruins instead of bears... It's being offended for offended sake and no part of the Warriors logo or imagery is offensive...

3. How many wins should your fan base expect this year, realistically and how far can you go?
It's a rebuild and as I said last season, it's not going to happen overnight. What I would like to see is the team getting the first of a few wins under their belt within the first couple of weeks. With Michigan's QB injury and then a game with Cancun, I can see a few wins coming to Atlanta this season.

4. If you were to improve one position on your team with a trade before the season starts, what position do you target, and are you looking to trade picks or players to get a deal done?
I'd look to improve the offensive line if anything. Tommy has the targets but he needs the protection and while I think the boys are capable, it's the one place I'd like to improve on. What I'd trade for that piece though is subject to the piece in question.

5. Are there any official position battles as we enter pre-season, if so, which ones?
We have depth in a few places so it's especially important to see who is going to take the premier positions especially at WR, LB and CB.

I can tell you're under the weather, so lets take this nice and slow.  Just let me know if you want to discuss anything coming out of camp.

Hey man I'm cool. I'll keep my distance for now but have a few questions to expand on the team sheet.

First things first let's talk about the coordinator set up. How are these guys holding up and do you feel we have improved on last year in that aspect?

Much better than last year.  Prince's reputation has been tarnished over the years, but I think he's a good choice right now to help Mazza take the next step. If we don't see it then we have to decide if its him or Mazza that is at fault.  With Coach Diaz, he might not be a great head coach without a top staff around him, but he knows the defense and as our DC I think he's going to do a great job

That's really good to hear and brings me nicely onto my next point.

Mazza.

I know it's raised a few eyebrows keeping him on but he could justify his performance last season by having the wrong tools. This year he's got little excuse. Quality receivers, an outstanding coach and quality coordinator... This is the acid test for him.

Do you think that he will step up or is there a problem I've overlooked?
