1. Solid win. I was pleased with the effort from our squad. For his first official game, I thought Daley was very good. He's going to do great things for this franchise. I'd say our biggest problem was rushing on both sides of the ball. We need to up our yards per rush on offense, and we need to limit the run game on defense. But overall, good work from our team.

2. We looked good overall. Maybe a few things to clean up, but we're on the right track.

3. No. Maybe a few minor tweaks, but nothing major.

4. The fact that Ackerman's career could be over is a shame. He plays hard and is an asset to this league. I don't think Berry intentionally hurt him, but that doesn't change the outcome. I was also surprised by Christopher Allen's comments, but he played us tough this week. If he keeps it up he'll be a top free agent target.

5.  Vegas is always a tough game for us, and GM Metro has done a great job loading up their defense. Our offense will be challenged, but we can get it done...

Absolutely. Botts could win multiple games for us.

Any concern about the run defense?

Not particularly.  Allen broke a big one, outside of that we held him up when it mattered, 3rd down conversion rate is bigger to me than yardage allowed.

Sounds good.

What about our rushing offense? Will we struggle to get a high per carry average until our offensive line gels more?

1. Talk us through this week's game. What did you like, what do you want to see improved?

Big win for us. Vegas is a highly talented team, and getting a win on their field could be big in the standings once we get closer to the playoffs. We obviously don't want to start our games down 17-0, but the fight our team showed in tying the score, then winning in overtime, was huge. They showed that they are mentally tough enough to get the job done.

2. Through two games this season, who's surprising you for the better, and for the worst?

It's not really a surprise to me, but I love what I've seen from Keenan Daley. He's stepped right into the QB1 role, and has shown leadership and quality of play. He's a big reason why we're 2-0. As for the other side, I'm pleased with the effort from all of our players so far, so I haven't seen anyone to single out negatively.

3. Which one-part of your team do you believe is only going to get better going forward?

I think we'll run the ball better as the season progresses. In the offseason I made a significant number of changes to our offensive line, so it makes sense that it would take time to get our blocking up to 100% of their capability. They've done a good job so far, but it will get better. I'm sure of it with the talent we have.

4. Talk about your news story this week.

We didn't seem to make much news this week, and that's a great thing...

5. Talk about at least two other news stories this week.

The incident with David Nutt is very concerning to me, not only for his safety but that of all players in our league. I hope he is ok, and we as a league look at the safety of our players in their off time. The potential for security for our players outside the stadium is something we may need to look into.

When hearing Duke's comments down in Miami, I hope him saying concussion is a self diagnosis that will turn out to be false. The idea of a player being left on the field with a concussion is unacceptable across this league. I'd like to hear a resolution for this scenario very soon.

5. Talk to us about your match up this week, how do you build on last weeks success?

Keep working hard. Our team gives 100% effort week in and week out. We travel to Oakland, who is a very tough squad, especially up front on defense. But I believe we'll be ready, as we always are, and we can execute our game plan and get the job done once again...

Have a good week.

Jarvis, you've already made a big time difference in our pass defense, and that's why I brought you in here. With you anchoring the back of our defense, we are definitely a top contender for the title...

You're doing a great job. Keep it up.

Ricky, I wanted to take a moment and let you know that you're doing a great job. You and Simon are the most dangerous tandem in the league as far as I'm concerned, and having you here in San Antonio is big time for our offense. You are helping to take us to another level...

1. Talk us through this weeks game. What went wrong?  What went right?

Another solid win for our squad. We did blow an early lead, but our team made the plays it needed to make in the second half to get the job done, on both sides of the ball. We're playing some pretty good football at the moment...

2. How do you feel about the emergence of the Alliance of American Football and the XFL?

I think competition is a great thing. It will force us as a league to up our game to continue our success, and it will allow us to get a better look at some players that may be available to us. In the end I think this is a great thing for our league.

3. Talk about something going on around the league this season that has interested you in one way or another.

Rapid City already losing twice is a huge story. I think they will bounce back and be a playoff team, maybe even three peat, but to see any sort of struggle out of that team after the past two seasons is a big shock to me.

4. Talk to us about your upcoming game this week.  What will be the key to victory?

Tombstone has yet to win, but we still can't take this game lightly. We need to keep winning to solidify ourselves late in the year so we make the playoffs, so we need to win the games like this one...

They seem to rely on the pass much more than the run. Del Rio looks like he struggled in the first two games, but bounced back and played well this week. If our defense has any weakness, it's been giving up big pass plays, and they have Green-Beckham...

Could this be a concern in this game?

It's possible, but I don't fear Del Rio, and with our defense I think its just a process of getting comfortable and settling in.

Good. If we can get some more consistent play from our CB2 spot we are going to be very hard to defeat...

I love the way our offense is playing. Solid runs when we need them, big plays in the passing game, and a QB that makes accurate throws...

I've got nothing to discuss on that side of the ball, so I'm going to let you get back to work.

Let's get to 4-0, Coach.

1. Talk us through this weeks game. What went wrong?  What went right?

Another good win for us. Great game for our offense, which is playing at a high level this year. Defense looked good overall as well. A few things to clean up on that side of the ball, but I'm confident we'll get it figured out and be a bigger threat going forward.

2. Which of your division rivals has surprised you the most so far this season?

I think Tombstone is more competitive than their record indicates. A few tweaks to that roster here and there and they'll be a playoff team again soon...

3. With where you sit in the standings, do you feel it is a true reflection of your team? Where do you feel you should stand, and who on your team is most responsible for your current standing?

This will sound arrogant, but I do feel our 4-0 record is a true reflection of this team. This is a highly talented team that plays hard each and every game, and the results are an indication of that talent and work rate. I don't like singling out players when our whole team is playing so well, but I'll give a shout out to Keenan Daley. He's a legitimate MVP candidate as a rookie, and has helped us take our offense to another level. He's the real deal.

4. What has been the biggest challenge for your team so far this season, and who would you say was your teams' most improved?

Our biggest weakness to me has been giving up long pass plays. We've given up too many of them so far, but I have confidence that our secondary will figure it out. For improvement, I like how Ronnie King is anchoring the middle of our offensive line. He played well last year, but I think he's taken his play up a notch and is on his way to being an elite linemen in this league.

5. Talk to us about your upcoming game this week.  What will be the toughest thing to prepare for this week?

Long Beach is a team that has some weapons and can be dangerous, but I see us continuing our level of play from the first four weeks and getting another victory. It could potentially be a fight until the end, but I like our chances...

I know we want to tighten up on the big plays, but we're still in the top 3rd of the league in pass defense, so I don't think we're too bad off.

Agreed. I wanted to answer the question from the media, so I gave our biggest weakness. That's how good we've been that our biggest weakness doesn't even hold us back...

Do you think our pass rush has been strong enough so far this season?

Depends on what you consider "strong enough" boss?  We are in double digits on the year but we're 14th in the league as a team.  ...however we're 4-0 as well.

I'm not really concerned about it, just trying to find something for us to talk about...

Everything looks good to me, Coach. You agree?

Indeed. Keep up the great work, Coach.

Let's get Tom Barber on the line.

--------------

Tom, I wanted to check in about Corpus Christi, especially Helfin and Dorman. How are our boys looking?

They are both coming along, but none of our minor league kids are ready to be promoted.  The Corners are both raw in their own ways, and the same goes for our DEs.

I'm not looking to promote anyone at this time. We're rolling so I don't want to rock the boat, but I'm glad to hear they are coming along. Thanks for the update.

Let's talk to Kenneth Benjamin.

------------

Kenneth, I wanted to thank you for how you've handled yourself over the years here in San Antonio. From signing a long term deal right off the bat, enduring multiple bad seasons, and helping us get to where we are now, you've been nothing but a professional and a great guy to have on this team.

I hope we can get you a title this year to reward that dedication you've shown...

1. Talk us through this weeks game. What went wrong?  What went right?

Good win to keep the ball rolling for us this year. The offense continues to put points on the board, and the defense is doing their job as well. It's hard to find any fault when you're 5-0...

2. Talk to us about your upcoming game this week.  What will be the toughest thing to prepare for this week?

St. Paul is a hard nosed squad that will be ready to play. Hagan has the ability to give any team fits, and McCaffrey is a great talent on offense.  It will be a tough game, but our boys are flying high this year and will be ready to get to 6-0....

Yep....

Hagan could be a problem at times this week, but that's about all I see at this point...

Don't get me wrong, St. Paul is a talented team. I wouldn't dare under estimate their defense which is out ranking ours in every category basically..  But their offense has struggled and I believe that is our major advantage.  We have a top-shelf offense to attack their top shelf defense, and they have a struggling offense to go against our top-shelf defense.

Agreed. I shouldn't underestimate them, but I'm also confident in our guys and don't want to rock the boat with an undefeated squad...

Go get another one, Coach...
