1. Talk about your exit from the playoffs, what does it mean for you and your team going forward?
It's a disappointing end to the season, but overall I'm happy with how things went this year. Not many teams can get to 13 wins with a rookie quarterback, but we absolutely found out that we drafted a franchise changer. The present hurts, but the future is bright...
2. What is next for this franchise?
Continue to surround our key players with guys that can contribute and get us to the next level. We don't need to look for a bunch of stars, just some productive guys.
3. Do you think you played your best football this week?
No, we did not. We were sloppy at times, but I don't want to take anything away from Rapid City. They took advantage of opportunities that we presented them, and did what they needed to do to win.
4. Do you expect to make major changes in the off-season?
No. I am always willing to listen if someone has an idea for a big trade, or if we can lure a big time free agent, but my goal is to re-sign our key guys and add depth at other positions.
5. What could you have done differently as a team to advance to the Conference Title game?
Played a better second quarter... that 15 minutes killed us. We had the momentum, then Rapid City turned it on us. Our sloppiness on offense played into it, but we needed to stop the bleeding and just couldn't do it. When you get to the second round of the playoffs you need to be sharper than we were...
