Understood coach. If you are comfortable in your position I will surely respect that and leave you to your business. I'm only giving you an opportunity to make a footprint in the pros before becoming a potential head coach in the HIFL. But what it sounds like is that you would rather stay a head coach on either level am I right?

Coach this is Music City, this place thrives on energy. With that said we're looking to fill the offensive coordinator position here in Music City. I can tell you now we have a young team with loads of talent on not just the offensive side of the ball but the defensive side as well. We have a QB who I see becoming one of the elite QB's in the league sooner than later. We have a stellar 1-2 punch in the back field. And a pretty good receiving core which we want to improve going forward, not to mention our solid OL.

With that said what I'd want to know is if you'd be interesting taking a coordinator position and what kind of offense would you want to run if you were to come join us here in Music City?

I'd be happy to run the offense for this team, I want to be a head coach eventually, but with you having a defensive legend as your HC, I don't think he'd get in the way of my offense at all.

Fast tempo, spread the field, lots of 3-WR sets and running out of it with Pugh... I think its a great look.  I'd even love to convert a big bodied WR to play TE, since we don't really have use for a blocking TE in my system.

That sounds perfect, Coach.

How would you feel joining us here for 3 Years | $7MM per year?

I believe with this time you'll be able to learn from Coach Crowder during the rest of his tenure here before he retires. Once the contract ends we can possibly talk about you taking over the helm for him and becoming that Head Coach you aspire to become?

That's great news coach. Now I won't waste too much more of your time. Enjoy the rest of ya summer can't wait to hear back from come draft day with the rest of our coaching staff. Proud to have you join us Coach.

----

Princess let's put out a call to Coach Patricia.

---

Coach Patricia, this is GM Wesley Bennett from the Music City Kings. I've heard from the grapevine that you are looking for a head coaching position. Unfortunately we do not have Head Coaching position available but we do have a Defensive Coordinator position available. We have a good young team here in Music City who is only going to be better in the future to come. I understand this isn't the exact position you are looking for but I believe some time under one of the best minds in football before he retires wouldn't hurt build to your resume for a future HC gig.

I'm gonna go ahead and offer you a 2 Year deal for $5MM per year. If you feel that's too long of a deal we can knock it down to 1 year. I'm a business man, coach...Football player turnrt business man. I'm willing to negotiate. Just wanna let you know the Kings are rebuilding their castle and we'd love to have you come architect our defense.

That's fine, coach. Thanks for taking my call. I wish you good luck in your HC search and if not good luck in Miami.

---

Princess, can you get in contact with the DC from the University of Nebraska?

---

Coach, this is GM Wesley Bennett from the Music City Kings I hope I'm not intruding on anything you got going on out there. Just calling to inquire about your interest in coaching in the pros. We have a Defensive Coordinator position open here that I think might interest you. We have a young team and hungry team that's play hard from start to finish. We have some of the best players on the front seven and secondary. We have one of the best minds in professional football at the HC position with Coach Crowder and I believe pairing you with him would be phenomenal for this team and the future of this program.

Now if you are interested in the position and speaking with me I have a couple questions I'd like to ask you first.

A return? Hot damn, coach this is a pleasant surprise. Can you please tell me more about yourself coach. Your name and how you prefer to run a defense? Seeing how successful you guys were down in Nebraska I'd say you had yourself a well oiled machine over there.

The name is Hooey!  Hooey Thought!

I run a 3-4 defense by trade, but I ran a 4-3 in Nebraska this last run, so I can run either set!

So you're a bit of a hybrid in a way then. That's very interesting to know coach. I'd personally like to run a 4-3 but we could easily implement both in certain situations.

Like I said before we have some young talent who is hungry on our team right now. I believe they are only going to get better but if you were to take a look at our defense presently constructed where do you see we can improve more at the be as successful as you were in Nebraska?

I think this roster is who we thought they were, so I wouldn't let them off the hook!  4-3 is their style, and that's what I think should be implemented. With Burger and Lang at LB you just need one more talented guy there to cause problems whenever you blitz.  the DE's look fine, you could upgrade at DT but its not terrible..   I like the corners and I love Caldwell!  He's a real killer.  I think SS needs a big improvement, that's a given, but I think the defense has a lot of meat on the bone!

Mr. Maker, how are you this evening? Yes, we are extremely happy to have Jackson join us in Music City to turn up the tunes on these receivers in the league.

We're thinking $6.5MM w/ a $2MM signing bonus for 4 years. Does that sound good to you, Money?
