1. What was your biggest takeaway from your game this week?

To be frank it was a damn shit show for both teams. Neither team could really capitalize on offense and with all that damn wind it was a miracle for our kickers to get the ball through the goal. Nevertheless, our guys played pretty hard. They heard Meek's message and fought. That's all I can ask for really. Just need to execute better this coming week.

2. Talk about the fight in the LB/OAK game and your take on the suspensions handed down.

I'll be honest with you I thought it was pretty entertaining to watch from a fans standpoint, haha. But um...I would probably be pretty pissed off if a team ran up the score on me too like that. Look this is football. This is sports in general these kind of things are gonna happen. No I don't condone this kind of behavior from either side but every once and a while these kind of things are gonna happen.

Somebody got replay of the brawl on YouTube or something? I just wanna watch it for a good chuckle.

3. Talk about this weeks game and what it will take to win.

We're on the road this week...We need the win. After losing the way we did last week? Yeah, we're gonna need to bounce back from that ASAP. I believe we can just have to continue to play hard and keeping focused on the plan at hand.

4. With 4 games to play, what do you have to do to close out the season strong & where do you see your team finishing in the playoff race?

As long as we can win key match ups I believe we will make the playoffs. That is our goal right now, to fight to stay i the playoff race.

It could be, or its that since we have been moving towards the "Big Play" offense, that they are trying too hard to make every route a touchdown and they're forgetting the fundamentals?  I don't really know.

KOBE FOREHEAD RUB

Fuck it...Let's get them in here and get to the bottom of it.

---

Princess, can you call down to the locker room and have the receivers come up to the office to join me and Coach Crowder please? Thank you.

---

Gentlemen, thank you for joining us this evening. Me and the Coach were just talking about you guy's struggles these past few weeks and quite honestly we'd like go get to root of the problem before we head into practice this week and handle our business against 'Bama which we should all know isn't gonna be a fucking cake walk. Now, at the beginning of the season we were rocking. The base was thumping and you boys were sending shock waves across the country. Now? Now I don't even recognize you guys anymore. Hell I know you're fighting to do your hardest out there fellas but now well what it seems like to the coach is that you guys are getting into your own way trying to do too much.

What's going on guys? What's wrong?

Coach, is there any chance we'd be able to beat Alabama with the injuries we suffered this past week?

Everyone in this building better believe it, or we might as well just go home for the season.  If you don't think you can beat that team across the field from you, you've already lost.

1. What was your biggest takeaway from your game this week?
What was my biggest takeaway? Michael Meek broke his f-----You know what? Next question.

2. Talk about this weeks game and what it will take to win.
It's not even about just this weeks game anymore. We're gonna have to fight for our f**king lives for the remainder of the season if we want a sliver of a chance to make the playoffs. Y'all killing me up here with these questions!

3. Talk about anything you would like from this past week.
Nothing matters to me other than our franchise QB being done for the year. Nothing at all. Our fate is now in Luis Alicea hands. If we make it into the playoffs you might catch me pulling a Bruiser freaking Elliott.

Give me a minute coach.

Heads into the office and yells profanities all while going into tirade. Opens the door to the office after five minutes and takes a deep breath.

Three plays into that game and we were taken out of it.. Nobody was able to get back on track after seeing Michael go down like that.  Kudos to Grover and Alicea for making some plays, but we just had no chance after they took Michael out.

...The kid didn't deserve to end the year like that.

Not at all coach. Not. At. All. Was having a break out year and............FUCK!!!!

Apologies...We're gonna have to focus on the rest of the regular season. Luis is gonna have to buck up and see us to the playoffs. I guess I'll get Meek moved to IR and get Owens called up just in case we get f----I mean if something happens.

We still in line for Bishop to get back by the first round if we are able to make it into the playoffs?

THUNDER RUMBLES OVER NASHVILLE

GM Bennett, this is Jennifer from the league office here.  I am unfortunately calling to inform you of a salary cap violation.  Our current records show that prior to your decision to call up Derek Owen, you had $250,000 in available salary remaining.  Upon your calling him up, you exceeded the salary cap by $2.75MM and are now in violation.

The league's punishment for all salary cap violations is a $5MM fine to the salary cap for this year and the following season, and the forfeiture of a roster spot for the remainder of the current season, meaning you will only have 39 roster spaces.

You now must clear $7.75MM in salary to be in compliance with your new cap figure.  Now, you do have the option of using your amnesty clause for this upcoming off-season in order to clear a roster spot without owing the 50% of the contract you are terminating, but using this option will leave you without an Amnesty in the off-season.

Please be more diligent with your financial numbers in the future.

If you believe this violation was made in error, I am happy to go over the figures with you, as long as you provide the league with your own financial sheet/figures for us to compare with.

1. With two weeks remaining in the regular season, what is your approach and why?

Our goal is to continue to fight. Continue to survive. We must make it into the playoffs. That is our goal this season and we will not let it pass us by. This group of guys has worked so damn hard to get to this point. We are Kings and we will fight. When one man goes down another will stand up and pick up the slack.

2. There is a rumor circulating that the new Collective Bargaining Agreement that is being finalized between the league office and players union will significantly change the HIFL for years to come.. What is one thing you would want to see added and one thing you would want to see removed from the league if you had the power to make it so.

I don't know exactly. Whatever is better for the players is something I can get behind. Especially if we can have the resources to ensure we can do whatever it is needed for our guys. And that's while they're playing for us and after. You hate to see guys go without proper insurances after their professional careers.

3. If your team had news this week, discuss it and your game this week, if you did not have news, how much stock do you put on these final two weeks when it comes to building momentum for next year?

I'm happy were able to survive. Major shout out to our defense for keeping the hope alive for us. We're gonna need them going forward. I know we are suffering from injuries on both sides of the ball right now so I'm just thankful for the hearts of these guys that go out there on that field to go to war. Also I'm still pretty ticked off about what happened going into this week. I honestly thought that having Meek placed in IR would relieve us in cap to bring over Derek without any consequences....Well I was wrong about that and it cost us a gifted veteran in Lang. I apologize to Lang this one is entirely on me.

With that said I'm glad guys were able to step up in his absence and help us get the win. We'll need them this week as Charlotte comes into town.

I love every bit of. So much I'm gonna take em out to dinner after practice one of these days this week. But with that said we can't let up on this momentum. We gotta keep pushing towards our goal coach. I understand it's not gonna be an easy task but with the group we got I know they have the talent and heart to take us there.

How we feeling about Charlotte this week?

1. With the playoffs starting this week, what is most important to you?

To be honest with you I'm just really happy we achieved our goal of making it into the playoffs. That was our number one goal going into the season as well as improving as a team. We have achieved that and now we must focus on what the future may bring in these playoffs. We know we are heading into this game without our starting QB along with other key players that will be sidelined for this game. Either way we will continue to play Kings football and fight to the very end.

2. (if applicable) What did you learn from your previous games this season against your opponent, and how do you use that to win this week?

Last game we went up against the Bruins we got our ass chewed up and ran the hell over to be blunt. I believe that was mostly because we wasn't executing on either side of the ball as much as we would've liked. They were able to get anything going on the ground and that is where we failed. This time around I'm hoping we can be focused on our execution and hit on all cylinders. We may be compromised coming into this game but I know our guys will give it everything we got to try and survive onto the next game.

3. For this team to make a run in the playoffs, who needs to step up the most?

As of right now I feel as if we're gonna ride or die with our defense. It's up to them to get us where we want to be. Defense does win championships after all.

4. Can your team go the distance and win it all in Vancouver?

I believe we have the heart and talent to do so. But with the injuries we suffered in the regular season there's no telling just how far we can actually make it. I am confident that we can do it nevertheless.

High octane offense this week, but if we can get to Marshall we can neutralize them. They dont have a run game outside of him. He's like a little skinny Jamie Ortega.

Alicea has the ability to hit Grover deep. That's the key for us to get it rolling.  We need to run it well, but if we're going to win, we'll need Grover and JVD to beat Tripp and Basham down the lines.

We don't have an easy path, but we've shown we can score on big plays against this defense before.. We just need Alicea to deliver in the clutch.

We have played them twice this year, we did better the second time around, so hopefully this time is the one where we put him in the turf and take care of business.. We'll use our Anti-Ortega package and try to hustle him into mistakes, thats our best chance, he has thrown some early INTs, we need to force those and score.
