1. What was the most memorable game of the year for you?

Beating the rival Monsters on our own field was pretty sweet. There are a lot of people in Ohio that prioritize beating Michigan above everything else so I think the fans liked that one as well.

2. Which game stands out or stings the most?

I hated losing to the Lynx. Seeing Eli's smug smirk after that win. He has the most punchable face I've ever seen honestly.

3. Do you think you could have done anything differently this season to have been better?

Yeah, I could have maintained the status quo from the Dazz, Eli and Franchise reigns and we'd probably have been back in the playoffs and eliminated in the first round again. That's been the pattern in Cleveland for a long time and, comparatively in the short term, it would have been a better season but that kind of attitude was never going to get this team where it needed to be. We cut ties with future hall of famers who hadn't found a way to put it all together even though they had been together forever.

I made a couple of mistakes myself in the process. But at the end of the day we are set up to make a play for a big time free agent while also making smart draft choices to set ourselves up for a run at this again next year.

4. Who was your team's MVP this year?

I'm going to select one from each side of the football and say Al Beard on offense and Sydney Council on defense. They were both consistent at a high level throughout the season.

5. How do you grade your coaches performances this season?

I made life hard on them this year and Coach Blitzer and Vandal never griped to the press. They never undercut me. They did their best to make it work with the pieces I gave them. I'll say B because you can't have an A at 4-11-1 but they put in work. Coach Crawford I'm going to say incomplete but not neglect to mention the improvement I saw in our performance on offense after he took over. Our running backs still struggle but guys like Mackey and OGB exploded onto the scene after Coach Crawford took over.

6. Grade your own performance, how did this season compare to others (if applicable)

Below average. C-. A lot of what was done needed to be done but I made some mistakes along the way and only managed to accomplish one or two of our season goals.

7. What's next?

We get ready for an off season that should turn get this team back into the playoff conversation next year.

Not an easy year for us, but I do like that you've got your own plan, and not just riding the coat tails of the last GM, or the last competent one..

Thank you Coach. The easy part of blowing shit up is over with. Now we've got to make sure we pick the right pieces to build with. I assume a burner at wide receiver and an upgrade in the interior of the line are the two top priorities yes?

I'd definitely agree there, add a quality defensive tackle to the list as well.

We should be able to fill those positions with solid young players through the draft.

Is there anyone who doesn't want to be here anymore or has been talking about requesting a trade out?

Not that I've heard, but I do think we'll send out a list in private with that information this off-season. I'll be sure to get it to you as soon as the off-season begins.

Great. I think we have a good plan in place going forward and can really flip this thing next season. You have earned your vacation though so get the fuck out of here haha. I'm sure there's a beach and a cold beer somewhere waiting for you.

Wayne says his goodbyes to the coach.

Ms. Ivanka I assume your father would like to meet with me. Say a prayer for my backside won't you.

Wayne proceeds to Mr. Profits office when he is ready for him.

GM Wayne, I wont sugar coat it.  I'm not happy to miss the playoffs.   It's not big time, but we did beat Michigan and didn't lose to them so we'll leave it at that.

Next year I want to see the team be great again, yuge, and I want to make a push to win the division.  Can you do that?

I will view anything less as a personal failure, Mr. Profits. Yes, I believe we can accomplish that.

That's why you're my guy!   Hey listen, I know the media hasn't liked your language and the league fined us, but damn it.. I like the fire.  Just don't cost me too much money, I'll pay a few fines though when it comes to those loser teams in our division, let them have it!

Thank you Mr. Profits.

Wayne says goodbye and returns to his own office.

Ms. Ivanka is there anything else I need to do before the season concludes?

Welcome back sir, My Father has asked me to keep you up to date with our current situation.

If you look at the league community sheet you will find our current roster.

If you look at the Community Restricted Free Agent List you will see all the RFA's in the league and you should be able to find our own.

If you look at the League Community Coaching Sheet you will see all currently registered coaches.  We can sign other teams minor league coaches to be our own coordinators or head coach; or we can choose from the list of available options in free agency.

The league is allowing us to contact up to 4 players' agents during the coaching signing period. They can be our own RFA's or our own contracted players to try to get a deal worked out to either bring them back (RFA's) or restructure/extend their current deals (our current contracted players).

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

The truth is, Cody wants the opportunity to start, and with you going with Fields in front of him, its not looking good for him here in Cleveland.  He'd rather back up a questionable guy or an aging veteran so he knows he won't be rotting on the bench.

If heís not going to start shouldnít he at least get to learn from his idol? You have my word if a starting job opens up anywhere Iíll do everything in my power to make it happen for him. Until then why not keep him with the city and head coach that has nurtured him this far?
