You're not typically told your neighbor is scum when it happens.  and the scum typically has a safe claim.  I've unvoted because after a second read it doesn't make sense for Digger to be scum, he's clearly Amini, since Amini was upset when Rikishi died.

I was going off of role more than flavor and have since seen my mistake, I just don't like the use of "neighbor" to describe what would clearly be a mason group.

This I agree with although I think Digger just used the wrong terminology when posting about this role. That's the only reason I can see for him using the term neighbor instead of mason.

Then what's the arguing about? Seems like debating the mispronunciation of the word tomato to me.

The debate was if its a town/town neighbor or a town/scum neighbor.

After the nice funeral for Monique Harpo, much of the rest of the day was quiet. But the night, the night was something else. We start at a much nicer and more furnished IBF office.

Nixon Kennedy-Johnson: Highway, fantastic job last night, I believe you deserve a reward.

He slides him another envelope.

Highway Dunn: Friend, you shouldn’t have. And now another to take care of? I’ll show these millennials how life really is done.

He loves, tapping his hip to either check if it’s broken or if he has his gun on him.

---

Elsewhere, in a New York club, we notice that Roger Morrison, younger brother of the late Mickey Morrison, chatting up who seems to be Nicole Pratt the best pitcher in the WNBL, as well as John Meeks hanging around Miguel Feliz, son of Anibal Feliz the owner of the San Juan Dolphins.

John Meeks: Miggy, man I’m telling you, I didn’t know it was Rikishi man. I thought he was this dude that stole my mom’s purse as she was getting on her flight.

Miguel Feliz: Look, you should explain yourself to his family though man. It ain’t right you just ran away from him like that.

Just then, there is a loud bang, a gun shot. The younger Morrison hides behind Ms. Pratt as both join everyone running out of the club. We see Highway Dunn leave the club, patting his hip once again.

---

Reading the paper the next morning, we see Nixon Kennedy-Johnson behind his desk as Anibal Feliz and Highway Dunn arguing.

Anibal Feliz: Dammit Dunn! You could have almost killed my son! He’s the star player for me!

Highway Dunn: Ah, he’s fine. I hit the big one clean in the chest.  Your boy was at no risk.

NKJ smiles as he puts his paper down, which shows us the latest on the shooting at the night club. 1 Dead, no one else hurt. The identity of the deceased:

DEAD: DOUG - JOHN MEEKS - TOWN DOCTOR/1X VIGILANTE

---

IT IS NOW DAY 3! YOU HAVE  72 HOURS TO REACH A LYNCH! WITH 7 ALIVE IT TAKES 4 VOTES TO LYNCH.

1. Talon
2. Franchise
3. Metro
4. Pancho
5. Kirk
6. Digger
7. Gates

My feeling is a scum team of Talon, Pancho, Franchise/Gates.

Vote: Talon

I know I'm not scum, which gives me a 50/50 shot of hitting scum with a random vote. Metro hinted blocker, and Digger claimed neighbour so 3 out of the other 4 are scum.

Talon for sure, that one I agree with. Digger is town, I'm positive you're town, and Metro is town going by what he's saying. That leaves Talon, Pancho, and Gates. That's where I'm looking at right now.

Metro is town because he accused Digger of being scum and never backed off even after we figured out who digger was?

Jesus we are screwed, you know this is LyLo right? Lets think about this first.

Why do I get the feeling there is more to this vote than you're letting on Prancy? I'm feeling CJ over Talon at the moment - but am likely biased because it was my "evidence" that influenced yesterday (btw - sorry Digger). I just felt his play was attempting to straddle the line ... you know what I mean?

With all of the town deaths on day/night 1, there was no need for scum to push a lynch. Metro stuck his neck out, so I am willing to believe him. Talon dipped his toe in the lynch Digger waters but backed off when it didn't look like happening. I read that as scum seeing if a lynch was viable but not being committed to it. I know it's Lylo, but I'd rather take a chance and be proactive than wait for a no-lynch and endgame.

There may be, there might not be. Right now it's process of elimination and those are the last three names I'm looking at. Everyone else I'm confident is town.

The problem here Franchise is that it's not just process of elimination, if you lynch me it's game over.

Kirk is starting to worry me because I went from thinking he was just suspicious of me for questioning the neighbor claim to suddenly trying to paint me like unvoting digger was bad?

If I kept my vote on digger after deciding I believed him anyone could have hammered last minuted and it's likely game over in the night phase.

Vote Kirk

I think some caution should be used when its LyLo and you're a little to eager for us to lose this game.

I'm not sure I buy this neighbour thing as being much of a clue, either. If we're to believe that a neighbour pair is usually one town and one scum, wouldn't that just be the mod giving the town the name of a mafia member? I think neighbours are there to create doubt and even things up a little, but it doesn't necessarily mean that one of them isn't town.

Vote: Talon

I think he's intentionally twisting "evidence" to get a town lynch. He can easily fall back on Metro's info when Digger flips town.

Like here, after I've unvoted  for nearly 24 hours, still accusing me of twisting evidence to force a lynch on digger?  I had been unvoted longer than I had voted him in the first place.

If asking questions to gain info (because I have a passive role at night) and can't gain info myself any other way is vote worthy, then I guess it's better to just lurk and drop a vote for no reason.

If I was scum, why would I question the evidence that pointed to Digger instead of just allowing the lynch and possibly getting two townies lynched when he flipped town and cast doubt on Metro? And right now, why would I be the first to vote someone when the mafia can just sit back and pile on a town mistake when the game reaches Lylo?

It's a good scum play to do things scum wouldn't do, that's how you avoid scum-tells.

Maybe getting a quick lynch on me to end the game is worth the risk, since it is LyLo and people tend to just pile on instead of playing the game.

We do need to think about it before we come to a decision considering it could be game over. I was going to come out and point at Franchise because up until overnight he seemed to just be posting fluff and repeating what others said, kinda hanging back. He added more to his posts but I still don't know if that eliminates my suspicions.

I don't feel as strong about Talon or Kirk being scum as I do about my suspicions of Franchise. Although if they were town, you think the 3 Mafia  would have been all on one of them.

But I'm going to go with my first thought here.

If Talon was town, he'd be lynched by now. Two votes on him but the scum haven't piled on. I know the counter argument he'll make is that Franchise and I must be scum, but why would the mafia bother outing themselves to push a lynch at lylo when they can sit it out and win in the night phase? Talon is one of the three mafia.

The Auction of Harpo is where we find ourselves where several prominent former NBL and current IBF people are seated, bidding along with hundreds of New York’s most famous.

We see Gates in the hallway outside waiting to get in at the next intermission, but he is hounded by several of the NBL’s former stars and Jon Tees.

Jon Tees: Hey Gates, I have an question for you. Would you rather have Seth McFarlane’s voice or Morgan Freeman’s?

Gates: I dunno Tees, get away from me.

Jon Tees: Come on answer the question, it’s a matter of life and death.

Gates: Fine. I guess McFarlane’s.

Just then a group of former NBL players come rushing out of the room.

Jon Tees: Guys! Gates is the one behind the death of John Meeks! He did it!

The former players take Gates out back and beat him to a pulp, backing up they realize who he is.

DEAD: GATES - JARRETT BOONE - TOWN COP

---

Back at the auction, Kennedy Nixon-Johnson successfully bids for the rights to the NBL, which the IBF will absorb for it’s own greed.

MAFIA WINS! FALLOUT THREAD TO FOLLOW
