Ive spent many years knocking my opponents out and I wasted no time in finding the hidden gem in the general manager applicants. Hes homegrown, but most importantly hes ready to knockout the competition. Prepared to be brutally punished by our newest GM, Phoenix Jr.

Hello Ms. Michael's, finally we get to start up shop. I can't wait for us to build a team that finally gets passed third place. We'll do it together. To start can you get me coach Brady Stevenson

---

Coach Stevenson, a pleasure to meet you. I am excited to get this season started. I would like to get to know you. Can you tell me a bit about yourself.

First, What is your focus for building a successful team

Second, how would you access the other coaches on our staff

Finally, why haven't the Brooklyn Punishers been able to get over the third place hump in four of the last five years.

The focus is simple boss, we need talent. I think we've done a fine job in the draft and have some prospects that are going to pay huge dividends for this team. It might be a slow process, but we'll get there. Not sure Coach Vera and Coach Chapman are really working out to be honest. It might be time to look in another direction there. We just haven't had the talent needed to get over the hump, it's really that simple.

That is all good information coach. Looks like we might need an overhaul top to bottom. Let me start on this rebuild. I'll get back to you, for now let me get to work.

----

Ms. Michaels, can you get me coach Vera and coach Chapman

---

Good afternoon gentlemen. The rest of the league is in office today so I won't small talk because my job at the moment requires haste. I spoke to coach Brady Stevenson and asked about the state of this team. He pretty much spoke about an overhaul in all facets of the game. I would like to hear your opinion before I move on, Coach Vera, Coach Chapman;

Vera, first, how does are current pitching staff look

second, how would you assess coach Stevenson style of handling our pitching staff, does he let them work out of trouble or does he have a fast hook.

Chapman, has this been a aggressive team or conservative over the past few seasons

second, how would you assess Coach Stevenson's handling of line up management.

COACH VERA

Pitching staff is actually pretty solid. We have a nice rotation with good depth on the reserve roster. Stevenson is a little more passive in hooking the starting pitcher than I am. Once I sense danger, I usually let him know it's about time. But he tends to give them a longer leash.

-----

COACH CHAPMAN

We are slightly more aggressive than conservative at the plate. Stevenson does fine.

Coach Vera: What did our pitching rotation look like 1-3

Coach Chapman: Can you tell me the lineup we used last year.

Our biggest assets are Esco as a hitter and Silvers a pitcher. Team needs would be at catcher, and we could use another outfielder.

Thank you. I'll get a jump.  Thank you for your input coach. I see changes need to be made in a lot of areas. Please stay here.

----

Ms. Michaels can you call in coach Chapman and Coach Vera please.

---

Gentlemen, Coaches Vera, Chapman and Stevenson, speaking to all of you about the fit of this team, As a staff, we don't seem to be in sync. I need a staff that is on the same page. Constant struggles to field a talented team and not being able to be better than third place all these years tells me I need to make changes and they have to come from the top. With so many teams looking to make moves and hire coaches I am going to let you out of your contracts to find other homes while the need for coaching is still at a high. Thank your your service to the Brooklyn Punishers and your input. I wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors.

Ms. Michaels, once the gentlemen have left the premises can you please call me HC from Mexico City Tortillas, Brian Mewes.

---

Mr. Mewes, we want to go in a  different direction. We did not want to go forward lingering in mediocrity. I think you are the man to give us a new look and feel in Brooklyn. I want to offer you the managers position. How does 2 years at 4.5 mil per sound.

COACH MEWES

Never thought of myself as a manager so early in my coaching career, but wow, you must really believe in me. For me to leave a good thing in Mexico City, I'd need $5MM to make the move to Brooklyn.

Nice to meet you. First let me say how long or short of a time you have been coaching doesn't matter to me. I prefer a coach who is young in this game. I need fresh ideas. This team needs a different point of view. Sometimes many years and all that experience comes with bad habits that have become second nature. The game is changing and we need someone who can connect to the players of today. So with that said I don't see why I wouldn't pay an extra 500K more so consider this a deal. Welcome to Brooklyn Mr. Mewes

Let's do this coach, I want to build this staff with the coaches you need or want. We have Scouting Director Jim Thomas, do you think we can promote him to head coach. He was part of the scouting that landed us some of these young players we have. If not we can keep him there and go after any other particular coach you might be interested in working with. So before I move on let me know, if you want me to grab the steering wheel then I would like to know what style of coaches you would like to work with?

We need a HITTING coach and a pitching coach. I am the Head Coach aka the Manager. I'm going to hang up now, I have some packing to do. We'll talk when I get to Brooklyn.

Ok,Coach Mewes, I don't know why I got the two confused, Head Coach, hitting coach. Forgive me. The first day jitters got me tongue tied and hyperventilating. I apologize for the over sight Coach Mewes. You are the man for this job. I will look to a hitting coach and pitching coach.

--

Ms. Michaels can you get me PC Ivan Rendon

--

Mr. Rendon, how's it going. I am interested in hiring a pitching coach. if I am looking at this right it says you have no experience and that's fine because how does one gain experience without opportunity. I am looking to revamp this staff with people that bring a whole new outlook to the game. So let me ask you, what type of pitching coach do you see yourself being. We have some good young arms and we just drafted a studd.
