We needed a real gunslinger to run these here parts and I'm pleased as pie to announce GM Bone will be given the sheriff's badge to lead this team to greatness.

Unfortunately, the bossman is on his annual duck hunting trip. If you're content in what the roster is you can go ahead and lock-in for the season or you can make any moves that you wish to make. All up to you, sir.

I'd like to think of myself as a tactical manager. Like to find weaknesses to exploit and play to our strengths. I like to be super aggressive on the base paths to manufacture runs and to do that you also need to have a strong hitting team.

As for our staff, Zeigler is a great pitching coach that works well with getting our pitchers zoned in and accurate. The plus is he's very happy in his role and has zero ambitions of being a manager. Pvan is an outstanding hitting coach that has contributed to the stars we've produced here. If there is one knock on him is that he struggles to deal with the younger players, but the vets love him.

"Aight, thanks for that.

How about the team? Can you give me a run down on what this team is? Strengths? Weaknesses? Any other lingering thoughts?"

I'd say our strength is in our pitching staff. It's good I say. As for weaknessess, we lack some talent outside of Tafolla and C-Rod. Allen will become someone we can use, but he needs more room to develop. We need to find some contributors on offense though. As for lingering thoughts, you know I was pondering this while I was on the pot earlier. If an ambulance is on its way to save someone, and it runs someone over, does it stop to help them?

"Depends. If they are vegetarian for health reasons, than it is probably a cute snack. If they are "vegetarian" because they think meat is murder? Well...then they are currently standing outside Nabisco headquarters protesting the normalization of animal murder with their wheat based animal shaped products."

How can something be "new" and "improved"? if it's new, what was it improving on?

"In truth, nothing is new. Every idea has been had before, every problem identified, and every opportunity presented. Some times people take advantage, and some times they don't. As you are well aware, the PBL is not the first baseball league around here. It's been done before. It remains to be seen whether this "new"er league is an "improvment" on the formula. Although I am optimistic this league is.

Coach, if animals could talk, which species would be the rudest?"
