I trust your judgment on which move to make, Coach. Good luck in Tokyo.

1. Talk about the last series. What was the highlight of the weekend for you?

Not much to celebrate this weekend. We got whooped all around by a good team. If I have to pick a highlight for our team, I guess I'll go with Bryant's start in game 3. He pitched pretty well. Not a good week for us...

2. Talk about the incoming draft class, do you feel it's too early for players to have to choose this soon into the season on college or the pros?

It's a big decision, so more time would lead to fewer regrets with those decisions, but at the same time these guys have known they need to make the choice for a long time. I'd like to say the right choice is always made, but sometimes they don't. I hope everyone who enters the draft are ready for the rigors of being a professional baseball player.

3. How do you feel about the potential changes the league is looking into?

I'm all for updated drug testing so we can finally put the Ricky Cruz BS to bed. As for postseason changes, I'll need to hear the proposals before I can comment on them fully, but I trust the commissioner to do what's best for the league as a whole.

4. Talk about any other news that sticks out to you?

London and Boise are firing on all cylinders right now, but it made be a bit premature to plan a parade in Boise. I'm also saddened to see the injury news come out from a few teams. You never want to see a player's season cut short.

5. Talk about your opponent this week. What will be the key to victory?

We need to hit and pitch better. I know that sounds like a curt answer, but it's the truth. If we don't play better all-around, we won't win games. It's that simple. If we get those hits and keep Indy off the bases, we have a good shot at winning a series.

"What going on with the pitching? How you plan on getting things on the right track?"

Our guys are absolutely struggling early on, but I have full confidence that they'll straighten it out, along with our coaching staff. They'll get into a groove, and show how good they are as a staff.

Super frustrating series there, but we have the talent to turn things around from the slow start.
