They did okay, but Diggs is obviously our guy.  With that said, I think he could easily average 30 a game.

No he is not. Heís been playing well for us and will only get better as the season goes along. Diggs is going to be an elite level player in this league, Iím confident of that.

My biggest takeaway is that we have a competitive team this season. I feel we can compete with what we have right now and contend for a playoff spot. We might have to change up some of the bench minutes but weíre good to go other than that. And going by what Iíve seen and heard itís a big step in the right direction for this team after how last season went.

Not too bad of a start.  Once Diggs gets going we will definitely be even better.

I agree. I really feel this team will be a contender for the playoffs by season's end. Do you think we need to do any minutes adjustments on the bench after the first batch of games?

1. "What did you think of your team's performance over the past two weeks?"

"I think we've played well but can do better. We roll together a few wins, get some momentum going, and we're going to be a force to be reckoned with. With what we have I think we can do that."

2. "What's your plan for the upcoming two weeks?"

"This team needs to get some wins. We start winning more games, get the flow and pace of the game going, and we'll be right where we need to be. I'm confident in my team and the abilities of every player on our roster."

Definitely not. We should be doing better than this. Is there anything standing out about the team's play that might be holding us back?

I think it's just a gelling issue right now.  Lot of new, young players.  I think if Diggs can really get going it will give the other guys a boost.

I agree with that assessment. Do we need to make any adjustments to the depth chart or are we still good to go?

We have got to find a way to get Diggs going...he is too good to be only averaging 16 points a game.

I agree with that. Scoring is an issue for us and I feel itís holding us back. Do you you think he needs some more motivation possibly?

Not necessarily, his work ethic is there so I don't think motivation will do it.  I think we might need to look at our offensive system.   I think we should try running some more motion and pick and roll sets.

That should work. The system might need tweaking to fit his playing style which would explain why Diggs hasnít gotten going yet.

1. How do you feel about your team at this point in the season?

"I feel we're trending upward but need to take a few more steps to be where we need to be. We've highly improved from last season but we need to get a bit more consistent to be a threat to the top contenders in the league. That said I like what I'm seeing from the team. We're playing tough, gritty basketball right now. We keep scraping and clawing like we have been, and I think we can sneak into the playoffs. If not we'll be very close to it."

2. What is your strategy going forward?

"Building chemistry and getting some momentum going forward. We can use that to build momentum either going into the playoffs or heading into next season. In all scenarios the future looks very bright here."

3. Who has been the biggest disappointment thus far for your team?

"I think it took us too late to get the ball rolling. The slow start is what is going to hurt us at least this season if we don't make the playoffs."

4. Do you have plans to make any trades?

"That'll be an internal discussion within the team. Wasn't planning on making any moves to be honest. I like what I'm seeing overall from the players on the team."

That is true. We get some consistency and we can make a second half run which would be fantastic. I think if we get that consistency and a little momentum we will make everyone take notice of this team. Just need to make it happen on the court.
