1. What was your biggest takeaway from your game this week?

Another win. We've finally put a streak together like I expected at the start of the year. Great job by our starting unit on both sides of the ball. Maybe some let up with our second unit guys, but I have no complaints.

2. With your record at mid-season, how would you grade the first half of Season 11 for your franchise based on your pre-season expectations?

I'd say about a B+. We had a couple slip ups we probably shouldn't have had during divisional play, but 6-2 is a good place to be. We're in line to compete for #1 seed once again in the West, but we need to get even better to make sure we have the playoff success we're looking to have.

3. At mid-season, which of your players would you consider an underrated performer who deserves more recognition

Ronnie King. We are one of the highest scoring teams in the league, and Ronnie is the anchor of our offensive line. O-lineman in general don't get much recognition across football, but Ronnie is a hell of a player for us.

4. Three weeks before the All-Star game, who do you believe is a lock from your team to be selected for the game?

I'd say I'd be surprised if Daley, Simon, and Lackey didn't make the team. After that I could make a legitimate case for a number of other players. I saw the news about Clarence. He's another guy making a strong case this year. I'd get our whole team on the roster if I could, but we should definitely be well represented.

5. With the trade deadline upon us, do you see your team as a buyer, a seller, or neutral?  ...and what is it you are looking for on the trade market?

I'd say pretty neutral. I'll make a move if I see one that can help us bring home a championship, but I won't make moves just because I can. They need to make sense for our team as a whole.

Sir Digger of Graves!  Hua Hua!  We have been off to a.. how you say? Magnificent start to the season.  We need to win 4 of our 5 division games to check that goal off of our list, but everything else so far is lining up just perfectly!  hau hau! Lets win the division, the conference, and the championship!

Right now they are 5th in points per game at 31.4, 3rd in yards at 418.5, 5th in rushing at 152.8, and 8th in passing at 265.8... The big threats are Garrett and Hodge going deep, and the combo of Jarvis and Jones running it, those 4 are their best chances of beating a defense. They're weak at tight end and then with the depth WRs.

19th vs pass... should be a big day for Keenan and the boys...

With Westmoreland out for basically the rest of the season, if not the whole thing, do you think we should try to bring in a new guy for the roster?

I think calling up William Gaines would work. He can play all 5 offensive line positions as a backup.

Westmoreland's injury is proof why it was a good idea to sub in the backups after we got the big lead, shame to see him go down, but if it was a starter, we'd be in trouble.

True. It was frustrating to watch the second unit struggle, but keeping the starters healthy was priority #1 in the second half.

Other than making the move to call up Gaines I think I'm all set to line up and go. Sound good?

Honestly, we have a mixed bag.  I think King is our top lineman. At Tackle both our guys are best suited for a run-heavy offense.  Both are stronger in the run game compared to their pass protection technique.  Our guards are both young, so they have room to get better but they also lack some of the things they need to be at their best right now, so its a combination of potential and current ability.  I don't think any one guy is a bad egg, but we could probably retool the line to better suit our offense, we lack a true left tackle.

GM Gravedigger, Riley from the league office here.

I'm going over your latest trade and I believe that you are $500K over the league's salary cap.

I am not here to go over the typical punishment outline yet, because when there is a violation we like to double check all of the details to be sure our numbers are right, but this is a preemptive warning that if our research comes back as accurate, you will be levied the same penalty that is usually handed down for such a violation.  Please note, making any moves now will not effect your standing.

1. What was your biggest takeaway from your game this week?

It wasn't the prettiest game we've played this year, but we gutted out a road win against a good team. Every once in a while you run into games like this, and they key is to survive and advance. We did that. Lincoln is a good team, and I feel bad for Bryant Garcia. Missed kicks happen. I hope it doesn't affect him too much moving forward.

2. Are you concerned with the XFL/AAF merger and the rumor of bigger market cities investing in teams to rival the HIFL?

I'm concerned with getting the Knights in position to win the Impact Bowl at the moment. As for the future, I welcome the challenge a merger could bring to our league. Anything that makes us as a league strive to improve and put the best football product in the world on the field, I say bring it on. We're the best league out there. Let's prove it again.

3. What is the biggest shocker from the trade deadline week?

Back was a good get for Seattle. They're already a top offense, and that move solidifies them as a dangerous team come the playoffs. The deadline in general was a little quiet this year. No shockers as far as I'm concerned. As for our move, adding depth to our offensive line was a no brainer for me. You can never have enough talent on the o-line.

4. In order to win this week, which player needs to have a big day?

With Ziggy getting the start I'd like to see him have a big game. He's got the talent, now he has the shot to show it on the field, and I expect he will. Miami is a quality team. GM Garcia has done a good job putting that team together, and getting Sullivan was a big move. They are a legit threat to win the East. This should be a tough game, but our team will be ready...

1. What was your biggest takeaway from your game this week?

Great win for us. Going on the road and beating a 7-2 team is always a good thing. We faded in the second half a bit, but made the plays we needed to make to get the win. Miami is a very good team that will be a tough out in the playoffs. They were a good test for our team, and we passed...

2. Talk about your news this week and at least two news stories you found interesting.

On our news... if you don't know by now Shawn Simon is an absolute beast then you haven't watched Knights football. You can be damn sure when awards voting starts I'll be stumping for Shawn for MVP. He's earned it. As for the rest of the league, the big time coaches headed to the XFL are a surprise. HIFL is losing some quality coaching talent with those moves. The news about Tulsa officially being up for sale isn't a huge shock, but it's disappointing. We had teams move in this league already. We don't need more of them shuffling all over the map. It makes it harder for HIFL to establish fan bases in cities if they don't know if the team will be there or not...

3. With 6 games to play, how do you feel about your job security?

Just fine. We sit in first and are well on our way to our fourth straight playoff appearance. I have full confidence I'll be working to make the Knights even better next year.

4. Talk about your opponent this week, what do you expect them to do and how do you win this game?

St. Paul is coming off one of the worst beatings in the history of professional football in any league. They just fired the GM and the entire coaching staff... If we don't win this one we have serious issues...

1. What was your biggest takeaway from your game this week?

Fairly easy victory for us, but to be honest I didn't think we played that well. We were a bit sloppy at times and it kept the game closer than it should have been. But in the end we won so I can't complain too much. We go into the all-star break in first place in the West, and we can use some rest for some of our guys. We're in a good spot.

2. Talk about your news this week and at least two news stories you found interesting.

Everyone wanting to leave their teams for Lincoln is interesting. A lot of guys want to prove they are starter caliber guys, whether it's for HIFL or the XFL. The landscape is certainly changing...

The Lynx situation is disheartening, to be honest. AMC is a cornerstone type player. To give him away to the XFL is a blow to HIFL. I really don't understand why Lynx ownership thinks moving their best, and only, offensive weapon makes the team more attractive to a potential general manager. As for Leake, that deal was huge, so I understand the move. Looks like he's going to be a popular guy during the all-star break...

3. What do you plan to do during All Star Break?
