Will this effect the minor league teams?

Pretty sure it will be a one way or the other deal, not changing mid season every year...

this is still a sim-based game, I can't flex rosters around back and forth, its either expanded or its not, as much as I like september call ups in baseball, it just doesnt work for this game.

- Minor leagues would still be there this year, but obviously you may want to call some of thsoe guys up to the main roster as well, that is for each GM to decide.  The minor league's future beyond this season is something I will think about as the year goes on, but I would not immediately liquidate the minors.

I pick future expansion.

I love the idea of having more depth, but everyone went into this season under the rules that we have now. I don't think that should change because of unfortunate injuries and lack of depth at that particular position.

I say we play the season out as is, and then we go into the offseason with the ability to build depth the way we want without having to rush to do it during this season.

I like the idea of the expansion as well and am comfortable with it being expanded now, especially with the bump in cap space from 165 to 175 with a possible increase again in the offseason. As such I voted for immediate expansion.

With that said, I'm okay with any of these choices really.

24 Teams (I voted for Charlotte)

So 75% is 18 votes required for Immediate... also means 7 or more votes for options 2 or 3 will result in Option 1 being failed.

We've been talking about it on Discord, so there's a conversation to follow if you want.

I'm voting yes because I don't care if this bails some teams out or not. Whatever. I think over the past few seasons we've seen that we could use expanded rosters, and now is as good a time as any.

I vote no. Some of us are already scratching around for players. Don't need 13 more players taking low deals to sit in Alabama. You have a 40 man roster, a minor league, an injury amnesty, a DTR and IR list. If you can't get a team on the field, you did a bad job and don't deserve the help.

I changed my vote to Immediate Expansion. If we're going to do it anyway (and there's clearly enough support for expansion to make it a forgone conclusion) why wait?

If we expand rosters, can we kill off the ability to trade salaries?

I voted option 3 - I donít understand the part about free agents.

Basically means if the salary cap expands mid season, we canít sign our own pending UFAs until ERFA so we donít abuse the newfound cap space.

DROP this issue for this season.

Option 2. That's an idea we can all catch.
