NEW: Designing Offensive and Defensive Packages
« on: April 12, 2019, 01:11:48 PM »
So throughout this season, coaches have had the ability (through either their own higher football IQ/scheming OR via conversations with the GM about certain schemes) to make special depth charts for certain situations and deployments.

Examples - Teams using 3-4 running backs outside of the traditional committee approach that uses just the RB1 & RB2

- Teams deploying a RB in the slot, but not all the time, swapping them in at certain times (Crews in MIA, Ackerman in KC, and others)

- Teams playing safeties at linebacker in certain situations (Oakland, New Jersey, Charlotte, etc)

- Teams playing DB's in various positions based on situation etc...

- Using Alfred Glass at WR (OAK)

All in all this has been an easy thing for me to do within the confines of the sim's depth chart requirements up until they fixed the "unlocked depth chart"   Now that it is fixed, I am going to allow you all to get creative with some of your schemes (at the risk of pissing off your coaches, who's job it is to do such things).

But if you want to design a package and use it in certain situations you can add it to your lock in.

here is the exact template I require.

NOTE: Your creation and deployment of this package does not guarantee any exact amount of usage in any given game, PERIOD.  It will simply be added into the teams packages and deployed at the coaches discretion.
