Are there any guys you think we should consider putting in for Positional Training?."

I wanna send Ammons, McIntyre, T-Mac, and Diamond out to receive Positional Training. Do you think they'll possibly benefit from the experience? "

GM Cure, who had motioned to Keiko to send a message out to someone on his personal line, looks up with a grin as he blows a cloud of smoke from his cigar.

1. Discuss your first game of the season. What stood out to you as needing improvement?

"One thing I've heard parroted to me from other GMs and columnists is that the team kept it closer than we had any right being for the first half. Despite giving up a safety on the first drive, we kept a perennial Impact Bowl contender honest for two-quarters of the game. Then proceeded to give up three straight touchdowns and another safety and our backs sufficiently blown out.

The talent is there, but we just gotta figure out how to keep it consistent on both ends. But hey, there's an entire season left and we're a new team. We got time to figure ourselves out."

2. Talk about some of the news this week...

"Anybody know how much St. Louis is going for? I mean, I do have more experience owning and running things than GM'ing.."

GM Cure & Keiko look at one another for a moment, before both shake their heads in the negative

"Nah, nevermind. I'd fire somebody for not having enough RBs for my liking. But it's sad to hear that ownership are on the verge of throwing in the towel. Especially with the news that a certain Perro Bastardo who can't quite keep Boss Lady's name off his lips is interested in buying a franchise just to compete with her."

3. Was there a pleasant or unpleasant surprise that you didn't expect from your team in the individual performance category?

"Honestly... seeing guys like Doss or McIntyre show out the way they did was pleasant to watch. Going in, we were expecting to lean on our vets heavy. But seeing Doss come out and be calm and composed, ready for the moment was something that the coaches and I took note of."

4. Talk about your week 2 opponent and what you need to do to win this week

"We take on a Cleaveland Team that, much like ourselves, are tryna avoid being in an 0-2 hole to start off the season. They get busy on defense as shown by how the game against Vegas played out, but they're inconsistent at best on offense. It'll take some work, but I firmly believe we can come out of this with our first win of the season.

“Hopefully whatever confidence we got from our play there carries over to this Cleveland game.

Should we go with Doss all out this game or should we stagger the minutes as we did with Alabama? Like I said up there at the presser, he looked poised as hell for somebody playing their first game, and against a team like The Nighthawks."

“We can stagger the minutes between he and O'Reilly with us leaning heavily on Doss. We know what we've got with JOR full stop, but I wanna see what we possibly have with Doss and Gatlin whenever we can.

Any other changes to the lineup you think we should employ or are we running back the same sets we had last week?"

Just to make sure I'm reading you right.  We're talking about using all three QBs, but leaning a little more on JOR over all, O'Rourke, not O'Reilly, right?

Cure looks up surprised.

“Huh... So that's his name.

And just using two this week. Doss as the starter, leaning heavily on O'Rourke as the backup. I wanna see what he and Gatlin got, but I'm not tryna do TOO much and overthink the shit.

Are there any other changes to the lineup you feel we should make? If not, I'm ready whenever."

1. Talk about your team's performance this week, where do you need to improve most?

"Not really a lot to say in regards to performance. We lost. We got beat down. We got dog walked for 4 quarters of play, held to 3 points, and made a fool of by a team who's QB - hell, who's OFFENSE has been mid at best, straight basura at worst before facing us. The worst part of this is we're all gonna be subject to that boy running things Cleveland talking cash 'ish for a minute, and nobody's tryna be subjected to that."

2. Talk about your team's news, and if you are up to it any other news that caught your attention.

"I admittedly haven't handled this QB battle for position in a way that's been productive. And due to that, I may have unintentionally caused a bit of the disconnect on the field due to the team having to get plays called by 3 different QBs. That's on me. I'm still acclimating to how GMing works, but that was a common-sense screw up from me.

That being said... if Gatlin feels he's the man to right the ship or at the very least, can keep us steady? Let's see if Youngin' can do it."

3. Feel free to comment on anything else and/or your upcoming game this week.

"We face the defending Impact Bowl Champions. Obviously with them being a divisional rival, we wanna play our best but them being the champions means we have to be absolutely perfect if we want to come out of this with a win."

I don't think you've done much to hurt our team.  Our QB usage has been unorthodox but we've played a top team in Alabama and a potential division winner in Cleveland so we're not playing cupcakes.. The schedule for our team is brutal.

“And it won't get any better from here for us, but aye nobody ever said it'd be easy.

So I've been thinking about starting Gatlin for the remainder of the season and running with JOR as the primary backup. If for no other reason? Then to see what we've got with the kid since we know what we're gonna get out of JOR each night for the most part.

Doss, as much as potential we saw against The Nighthawks, still feels a bit too raw and might need to chill for a minute. "

1. Discuss your thoughts on your game and where your team goes from here.
"We got washed, simple and plain. Miami got in our asses from jump and we never really recovered enough to even attempt to mount a comeback. It's frustrating, to see us get ran through like this two weeks in a row. But we'll figure it out. We'll make moves if possible, we'll continue to try and grow and play on."

2. Talk about the news this week, be sure to talk about the potential of GMs being traded, do you think you're on block?

GM Cure, who was in the middle of lighting up a cigar at this question, gives a derisive snort

"Considering we've been blown out three games running - one of which by a team whose offense is, pardon my language, a whole two-pack of ASS in Cleaveland - I wouldn't be surprised if I end up there if I can't at least get us scoring in games.

But maybe somebody gets traded and they creep on a come up. Who knows? GM BIG DOG got history there, so she can speak out on it at much greater length than I at the moment."

3. Feel free to comment on anything else and/or your upcoming game this week.

"We got Vancouver next week. Hopefully, we're able to get on track and figure ourselves this time out."

1. Discuss your game last week.

"I mean... there's only so many ways that one can say they got caught lacking. But that's what happened. We got walked out there. Simple and plain."

2. Discuss the Conclusion to the Zambrano Hostage Siege, the news that surrounded the event, and how everyone handled things.

"If you're expecting me to walk back my decision on not sending monetary aid to the hostage situation, you might as well start looking elsewhere for the plea copping. I'm not apologizing for my initial reaction to the news when it seemed, at the time, that we as a league would be forced to bend to the whims and negotiate with someone who has been accused of being a child predator. I meant what I said when I said I don't consider negotiating with someone who displays such sick and perverse nature as an option and never will. If anyone feels some kind of way about it, I'll be glad to answer any questions. If my guys feel raw about it... we'll have a team dialogue. I'll listen to their concerns, let them vent, let them get all that anger, and whatever lingering questions they have up off their chests. And we'll work from there.

I do however apologize for not consulting with GM Gates and asking for details on his plans for the money. Obviously, I should've had more trust in he and his staff handling things."

3. Who do you believe should be GM Rep next season?

"Why fix what ain't broken? Clearly, the current rep has done a better job in his role than anyone could've hoped for and hasn't allowed himself to be swept up in any agendas that may pop up so far."

4. Discuss your upcoming week.

"We have our divisional rivals, The Orlando Stampede, this week. The games always feel bigger in the regular season when it's relative, and this one is no different. Despite our run of bad luck in the last few weeks, we're looking forward to the challenge of taking them on. "

I don't expect you to make it happen this season, I just don't want our poor showing with weaker talent costing me and my staff our jobs in the off-season.  We can't miracle this thing together, but if we do it right, we can build the team we need.
