Sports have pretty much passed me by since I've been in China. I'm aware of big events and read about most after they happened, but I don't really have memories of anything other than England winning the 2019 cricket world cup in arguably the greatest world cup game of all time. I watched that live on my phone while my son slept beside me. The 2012 olympics were pretty great and I actually managed to be in England for it so got tickets for some of the boxing and saw Mexico play South Korea (I think) in the olympic football. I don't really give a shit about athletics, though.  The Jays doing well was great and the Raptors winning in the NBA as well, but I didn't see any of it. I guess the Miami miracle would make my list, even though it didn't stop the Dolphins sucking. Utd's last title under Sir Alex, or the Europa League under Jose were cool, but didn't see much of those, either. Wolves getting promoted to the Premier League and kicking ass is huge for my hometown. Wish I'd been there for it. That's about it.

2019 Cricket World Cup Final - I'll mention that again because it was huge. Not much tops that as a sporting moment in my lifetime, let alone the decade.

What an awesome question!!

10. USA Curling winning gold. We used to joke about curling and how the women would yell HARDER all the time. Was pretty cool to see a bunch of average dudes become Olympians.

9. Tiger winning the Masters. I'm not a big golf fan but my whole teenage and adult life has been Tiger in golf news. Crazy to consider how he was able to do this and even now playing good golf!

8. Patriots coming back from 28-3 to win the SB. My Pats fan wife fell asleep during this game!!

7. UMBC upsetting Virginia. First time in NCAA mens tourney that a 16 beat a 1. I love doing brackets and watching march madness. So...

6. Villanova beating NC for the championship a few years ago. Possibly the best college basketball game I've ever watched in my life.

5. Cubs win the world series. I hate that it happened at the expense of the Indians but that game 7 was one of the best baseball games I've ever watched in my life.

4. American Pharoah Triple Crown. This is a personal special place in my heart. At the Kentucky Derby which Pharoah won was where I proposed to my wife.

3. Two Penguins stanley cups! I'm a Cleveland fan but I've loved Penguins hockey since I was a little boy. The Cleveland Lumberjacks were their minor league team.

2. Buckeyes National Championship. First college football playoff ever. Won with a 3rd stringer who was only there to 'play college'.

1. Cavs. Not even my 3rd favorite sport to watch but this was just special for my friends and where I live. Its one of those, I know where I was when it happened moments that I'll always be able to tell the story about.
