BREAKING NEWS: Gentry Gets His Raise!

Charlotte, NC - With GM Rob -- of FBL glory -- the new general manager of the Delaware Colonels, Romain Gentry has agree to a revised one year deal worth $20 million with Delaware owner Patricia Patriot.  The Colonels are behind the eight-ball in terms of roster structuring, but finally getting Gentry signed surely helps ease some of the anxiety.

BREAKING NEWS: Wade White...Starter or 11th Man??

Charlotte, N.C. -- Trouble is brewing in Canton where old man GM Westwood has created a snafu that might show his age.  In his lineup submission, the Defenders GM listed Wade White as the starting power forward for the team...but also listed him as the 11th man on the depth chart.  Inevitably there has been some confusion and how my sources are telling me that there is some rift in the locker room about who should be starting and who shouldn't.

BREAKING NEWS: Fans Demand GM Holland Trade Himself to Detroit!

Dover, DE - Controversy was quick to flare up to start the SBA season as new General Manager of the Delaware Colonels made a major gaff in his introductory press conference. During the course of the press conference, GM Hollands, who hails from abroad, revealed his crippling lack of knowledge of US Geography, angering fans of the Colonels by praising the fans of the Detroit Gears, and then when given the opportunity to clarify, praised the village of Delamere, Cheshire, England instead.

Fans of the Colonels took to social media to voice their displeasure, and the hashtag #traderobtodetroit quickly trended on twitter. When asked what GM Hollands could do were he traded to Detroit, one fan replied that 'he could become Detroit's official bootlicker'.

It isn't expected that GM Hollands will face any consequences for his gaff, but fan morale for the Colonels has tanked in the last 24 hours and ticket sales have slowed for both main and secondary markets for the Colonels' home opener.

BREAKING NEWS:New Los Angeles Organization Demanding Apology Tour from GM Oldfield!!

Los Angeles, CA - A growing movement of 'Low Angels' has swelled following the controversy of GM Keith Oldfield submitting contracts for new players as 'Low Angeles Waves'. Despite the 3-2 start to begin the season, the extremely loyal fans of Los Angeles still are not happy.  The group, outraged at the insult the city of LA suffered has come up with a list of demands to make things right. The group is demanding that GM Oldfield personally walk every city street in Los Angeles and go on an apology tour. The group has spent months planning GM Oldfield's tribute, mapping out the nearly 11,000 miles of sidewalk he would have to hit in order to apologize in a satisfactory matter to the city.

ESPN Stats and Info calculated that should GM Oldfield accept the apology tour, it would take him approximately 152 days if he walked 24 hours a day nonstop, 228 days if he chose to do it over 16 hour days, and 458 days if he chose to ultilize 8 hour shifts. The 'Low Angels' are reportedly accepting nothing less and have sent a petition with an undisclosed amount of signatures to Los Angeles Waves owner OJ McLoo. A companion petition to the White House on change.org has garnered nearly 3,000 signatures at the time of this writing. Neither GM Oldfield nor the Waves organization have commented on this story yet. More as it develops.

Colonels: A petition for GM Rob to trade himself has garnered 612 signatures.
